The canister is cute. It meets my needs of adding color to my kitchen. I hand washed it as the instructions mentioned. Thankfully the item came with chalk to write on it immediately.

Nice color and detail

Perfect Compost Crock
Makes a beautiful compost keeper on my counter. No little holes in the lid to give fruit flies a chance to breed, or let odor escape, like actual compost crocks. Love the vivid color, too.
