size was good, but still slid down leg as you walk around like most elastic wraps do. OK for sitting still.

I really need knee replacements - RA - but my doctor asked me to defer as I'm "too young" for it. I've struggled with knee supports. Velcro closures always pop open - not because I'm trying to squeeze into a small size, I always measure meticulously. But, I just seem to bend my knees too vigorously (what do you mean, you shouldn't sit "sukhasana" with knee damage? Or climb things?).My skin is sensitive, and reacts to many plastics and polyester fabrics = elastic bandages.But this works.Nothing to pop open or adjust, pulls on easily, no chafing. I'd consider it light to perhaps medium support. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is I seem to be between sizes, and probably will have to adjust/pull this up. It's not perfect, just very good.I'll be in Alaska in a few weeks, and think this will be very helpful with rugged places.Please note - I didn't purchase this on Amazon. I just found this listing when trying to discover the composition of the fabric, and thought this needed a review.
