I BOUGHT THESE AMAZON PRIME! They ARE going back!

These things are super strong! They will hold onto your hair like vice grips. If you don’t have super thick hair or you aren’t doing big braids I would go smaller than the 20mm just so you don’t have to twist them because they will get tough to twist real quick . If you want something that will not only hold your hair right where you want it but that will also not snap on you or dryrot, then these are your answer. I can’t think of a single complaint on these . Just buy them and every person you know that sees them will want them . My sister did a lot of braids using these and not a single one of these bands broke or caused her any issues . She did all types of hair too.

I researched hair elastics for WAY longer than anyone should (weeks before finally deciding on these). They look nice and are strong, but they are not nearly as stretchy as what I am used to (Goody brand) and they are very difficult to get around my daughter's hair 3x because the band does not stretch enough. I can get it around her hair twice, but that's not tight enough to hold her hair up all day. For reference, I am am an extremely petite adult female with very small hands (about the size of an average 10 or 12 year old).I would have purchased these at the store, but for some reason the right size Goody bands are often hard for me to find in stock. I measured one of my old bands before ordering and bought the same size, but these are just not stretch enough. They do seem very strong and none have broken, but I ended up going to a big box store and bought two other kinds that are hopefully stretchier.

I love these so much! You can reuse then over and over again which is miles better than ones you get at the store like Goody, etc. Which break if you touch them just 20 minutes after putting them on, or just break on their own from existing in someone's hair at all. These ones are so crazy durable and worth the higher price tag!The 40mm are great for thicker hair or pony tails. I like the versatility of the 40's. The 30mm and are good too and work great for toddlers or thinner hair. 20mm and smaller are very tiny and work great for baby hair or tiny braids.

I haven't used clear hair hair bands in more than 15 years and I remember them being the most frustrating experience. I would pick one up to put it in my hair, gently try to stretch it to put my hair in, and SNAP, it was broken. Some mornings I would go through 2-3.These hairbands are so much better than those Goody ones I bought all those years ago. I haven't broken one yet (it's been about a month or two since I bought them). Sometimes, my husband even fiddles with them and stretches them and he hasn't broken them.This is the first review I've written in my nine years as an Amazon customer because I felt it was so important to make it clear that these are superior to the name brand ones you're used to. I'm so glad I trusted the reviews and went with these. Honestly, I kind of hope this guy sells his formula (or whatever it is that makes these so strong) to Goody so these become the standard on the market.My favorite way to use them is for banana buns. I have slightly longer than shoulder length hair (my hair is somewhat fine but there's a lot of it, as hair stylists like to tell me) and the 30 mm size is perfect.

Perfect for my daughter's fine baby hair! It stretches out a little bit, but still 100% usable. Been using them for a few months and haven't had a single one break yet!

These little bands are really fantastic! They are super stretchy, though I was really skeptical when I first pulled one out of the bag. They looked really small and felt stiff and I was afraid they would snap when I put them around my hair. Not the case at all! They stretch out really nicely on the first use and are easier to use from that point forward. I have reused these bands many, many times and have not had one break once. At this rate, I've got enough bands to last me the rest of my life as they don't seem to lose their stretch, the ability to gently grip and hold my hair, or really break. The only thing is they are clear so I think I've lost a couple of them simply because they do disappear into the background really well.For the most part, they have not caught in my hair or hurt at all. Not 100% perfect, but darn close to it when it comes to being gentle on your hair. Good gripping and hold without feeling like a rubber band that yanks your hair when it comes out (those are safer IMO to simply cut out of your hair). Far better hold than the old fashioned style of hair band or even the more modern metal-free bands that are supposed to be gentle on your hair. Great product and highly recommended. And I paid full price for these so this is an unbiased review for sure!
