I bought this kit as a way to try and get my horse to be ok with the tools a ferrier uses. They came very sharp and ready to use. I am also in love with the handle used for the file as with little hands I can’t get good grip when it’s in its own. The hoof shears work really well on my goats as well. The gloves are a great asset as all these tools are very sharp. They give the advantage of getting a better grip.This set is very sturdy. I wouldn’t mind buying a set for each of my kiddos as they grow older. I will be sharing this set with our 4H group for their animals. The sizes are perfect.

My horses got into some mischief and I needed to trim some splits in their hooves between farrier visits. I got a pair of nippers from tractor supply which were extremely hard for me to use. This pack came in the mail and everything works amazingly. Defiantly recommend!

Not very sharp had a really hard time trimming my horse hoof . I have done farrier work for many years and these ones does not work well . I guess you get what you pay for ..

The rasp and clipper are too big and heavy for my hands. (M-L woman hands)I couldn’t hold the trimmer and the rasp too long and heavy. The knife isn’t very sharp and hard to use on one side of hoof due to only one sharp edge.
