Klein Tools VDV826-600 6p6c Connectors, RJ12 Modular Telephone Plugs with 3-pronged Contacts, for Solid or Stranded Connections, 25-Pack

Could see the difference, just holding one of these Klein Tools RJ11s next to a competitor's recently purchased RJ11. Put new plugs on a 25ft 4-wire Telco cable. Since both the quality of the modular plugs and the accuracy of the crimp are the critical factors for the bandwidth supplied by the cable, replaced the plugs at each end of the cable. Result was improved v. even the original cable and plugs. Cable was for a VOIP (off a 1 Gbps fiber ISP line) two-number phone line for both voice and fax. Extra cost was approximately 19 cents per plug. Break-even clearly depends on usage volume v. time costs. BTW, we did use a ratcheting crimper, as recommended.

It's a pack of jacks.... need I say more.

Worked well with my Klein crimpers. Worked on the first attempt. I have found that paying a little extra for name brand saves a lot of labor and troubleshooting time. Cheaper plugs and tools may not make a good connection.

But why did I need to buy so many? I only needed 4! Remember you will need a crimping tool to attach these.

i only really needed one . upgrading uverse feed. it worked fine .

I can only say they worked well for me. Not really needed but, I purchased them to try them out. I just wanted the 3-pin edge going into the wire for a DSL fitting and the result was a positive crimp:)
