New Balance Men's 311 V1 Sneaker

I seek out well madr and extra light footwear. Cant beat this sneaker for that. Know that there is an area of special study when it comes to fitting shoes and sneakers. I learned that as Amazon made me delve into consideration of a proper width (don't like to return things and not lime trying them on first)I even called NB and asked about stretch and fit as these were snug and made me wonder if I called it right (enough purchases to prefer NB without ever looking)Minor stretch did occur but negligible compared to proper lacing patterns for your foot.

I've bought two pairs of the NB 311 in black with the white logo. Two pairs because I love them so much. Not two pairs at once-- I'm not a lunatic-- but I bought my first pair a couple of years ago and bought a second pair later, only because the white on the sole started getting a little parma-dirty.Anyway, I'd buy these shoes over and over and over again. They look classic, they go with almost any casual outfit, they fit like a dream. Just a really good pair of everyday sneakers.

I bought these sneakers for work, since my job requires a lot of walking. Personally, as a runner, I prefer a zero drop shoes, and the flat, thin soles of these allow me to properly feel the surface of whatever I'm walking on, and keep my feet strong since they provide little support. I also like how they look, they have an attractive color scheme, are streamlined, and I really like the wide-open tread, which collects little to no rocks/dirt. Since I live in rural Colorado, tracking pebbles inside my house was a constant problem before. Not anymore! I gave this shoe a 4 star rating because they could breathe a little bit better, but if you don't have sweaty feet like me they won't bother you at all. Plus the price tag is a little easier to stomach than all over those overpriced, overhyped, overstuffed running shoes you see nowadays.

I've been using NB for 10+ years . Over the past 5 years only wearing NB I received these shoes yesterday and wore them around the house for the rest of the day. I took them for a 2 mile walk this morning with no adverse effects. Some things I noticed comparing to my NB 420s; The311 feel much sturdier, despite the fact that they are no heavier than my NB, they provide better support. This is the first time I have bought a running shoe FROM amazon I'm very pleased with the result. I feel much more stabilized when I walk. The 311 also provides excellent cushioning. I'm very happy with these 311. If that changes over the next year, I'll update my review.

I have used New Balance Sneakers ow for a few years. I walk at least 4 miles every day for health reasons. I have tried other brands and have been very unsatisfied about the lack of longevity as the sneakers will fall apart. I find that I am able to get at least 6 months of daily use from a pair before the start to come apart. Always a good fit for me, with great support. For me these sneakers are a very good fit...

UPDATE: After three days of wearing these, they've broken in quite a bit and have become a good deal more comfortable. I'm not sure if this is by design, but they've formed to each foot a bit and have softened up some. Much more comfortable than they were out of the box.If you get these on a deal, I'd now recommend them, but keep in mind that they require a few days of break in to be comfortable. Added a star back to review.Original review below:If you told me that these were cheap knockoffs of new balance, I would completely believe you. They feel exactly the same as $12 Starter shoes from Wal Mart. Stiff, hard, and cheap materials. The New Balance insole it comes with feels like wood- I'll be replacing it ASAP.Such a disappointment from New Balance, who usually makes excellent shoes. Look elsewhere for low-cost shoes.

Best tennis shoes on the market. My husband is a private contractor and usually wears work boots ALL of the time. When he comes home. First thing he does is take those boots off!?! & then he puts these on! EVERYDAY he has off work- he's in these shoes. I knew he'd love them. & he does!!! Fit exactly as expected! They look so good on him too!?!!!!

I ordered these shoes on a one-day half-off promo. They were a great value at $30'ish for the pair. The full advertised price of $60-$65 is a bit much IMO. They feel like a $50 pair of shoes. They have nice styling and they are fairly comfortable (so far). The quality of material leaves a bit to be desired. They feel a little "foamy" and stiff. I took the advice of many other reviewers and ordered my pair a half size larger than normal - I'm glad I did as they fit perfectly. I wear 11.5 typically (Nike) but went with a size 12 with these. Overall I think they will make for a good pair of casual "every day" shoes. I would definitely buy another pair if they do another half-off sale.
