should have a protective sheet to protect product from damage
This backsplash is as described, however you will scratch and damage the backsplash when removing it from the box just like I did. This product should be protected with a plastic sheet to protect it from such damage. very disappointing and because of this I would not recommend.

Great customer service, nice product
The packaging of this product was excellent -- it's a thin piece of sheet metal and so it is easy to crease or scratch. Nevertheless the first splashguard had a small scratch on it. I reported it and within one day, my account had been credited for the (free) return and a replacement was sent. I had contacted the sellers to be sure the splashguard was black ,since the picture was white, and they wrote me back immediately assuring me it was black (it was). I'm super happy with the customer service and felt they deserved a good review.We installed it behind the stove and under the range hood in a place that had previously been occupied by an "over the range" microwave oven. The wall there had been bruised and dented in the removal process. This splashguard fits perfectly under the Broan range hood and seamlessly flows from hood to range. It looks great, and saved us from having to patch and paint the wall!
