I had bought another setup on Amazon the used a silicone washer on the union fitting. It was difficult to seal and the seal was impossible to find. Instead of messing with it I bought this set of valves. They have o-rings in the union fitting which are easily replaceable. The quality of the valve is cheap but good for the price. I use this setup on a water heater in my shop.

Installed flawlessly on a Rinnai V53. Just had to purchase 3/4" male adapters to connect water input and output pipes.
