KitchenAid 5 Cup Cordless Food Chopper, Passion Red

I like this processor. I was worried it wouldn't be strong enough or hold a charge but I was wrong it is plenty strong and charge last a good long time.

This is definitely my favorite Amazon purchase of the year! Quality doesn't disappoint, and it's a great timesaver as well. No cords, and the unit only needs a recharge if I am using it constantly. Hope Kitchen aid makes more cordless gadgets in the future... maybe a small griddle for power outage situations 😊

Do I think this will replace your VitaMix or your Cuisinart? No, that would be silly. However, for light to medium jobs, this thing is impressive and the portability of cordless, is more handy than I expected. It will keep up with any other mini corded chopper out there. It's great for the boat or in the camper too. I'm surprised it makes smoothies so well and salsa or guacamole in seconds...Ole' Hummus came out great and the whip attachment made some decadent whipped cream. If you think you can fill this with large ice cubes to make snow like your VitaMix, you're kidding yourself. This is a great medium duty performer with the added convenience of cordless

I must have used this chopper at least 15 times after charging the battery and it is still going strong. Much easier to prep food on the counter and move the chopper to where you need it without the electrical wire restricting where it is placed. I am using this chopper almost every day to make either salsa fresco or hummus and the results are perfect. As a professional baker, I was introduced to KitchenAid products in a bakery setting and have never been disappointed with their appliances.
