I have dark red brown mahogany hair and this keeps my color in between coloring. I use the warm brown color. Stains hands when you use it in the shower, but just scrub off with soap and it comes right off. Smells great and makes my hair soft!

This is the warm brown. My hair on the left looks much darker than it was and had highlights. It really picked upon the highlights and turned them red. I’m usually very conservative so seeing it in the daylight for the first time today made me giggle. But I really like all the dimensions! If you have long hair, you’re going to need at least 2 bottles. I think it lifted so much bc I applied the product when my hair was dry and left it on for 30 mins. It does not do anything for gray hair as you can see, but it doesn’t say it will. Overall, I am happy with it. No complaints.

Colors well, but more shades are needed.

I purchased the product mainly to deep condition my hair and add a bit of color as a bonus. This did a good job of color onto of dry course hair. However, It did not deep condition. I had to use my conditioner as my hair felt matted and dry. The end result my dry brassy hair looks healthier. Just be aware you may also need a second conditioner. Less of a rating as it didn't fulfill my need.

At 68, my hair is light - white, grey- not sure what to call it, but definitely not my warm reddish brown of the first 5 1/2 decades. Although this is intended for roots of colored hair, I use it mixed with my conditioner after most shampoos. I try to leave it in the directed 10 minutes, but even at only 5 minutes (or less!) it leaves a light golden hue to my hair. It's the perfect amount of coloring for me to go beyond the drab somewhat lifeless color it has become. It's way better than dying it, for me that is, because this tint is perfect for me. I use the Warm Brown. Also, using it with conditioner I can control the amount I apply each time. I don't need a lot for the right effect I desire. (Too much looks fake; a gentle amount looks soft and natural)I hope someone else can benefit from this way of using it!NOTE: When you use it, distribute well throughout your hair or it will look blotchy.
