Works well fixed my problem

Product worked well, no leaks, fits on a 2008 Chevy Sub 1500 LS. Remember to look up the torque specs on the banjo bolt before you install, not that it matters to the hose, will to the caliper.

Definitely not OEM, notches on bracket do not line up. Small and large notches in the wrong places. You can see in the photos the notches on the old are in different places than the dorman one. Crimped metal around the hose is also opposite. Dorman crimps in under attached bracket. OEM crimped out, allowing more travel distance.

DOES NOT FIT!!! GM sells these as exact fits but on their website they state that they "may not look the same". The problem is the new clam puts the hose in harms way of the front stabilizer bolt. One good pothole and the stud pierces the hose. GM has a track record of not caring about safety (ignition switches, airbags etc.). Also the banjo does not fit as the line is bent differently. I called Doorman and they told me that they just "copied" the GM part. I spoke to their quality control and they said that they would get back to me. Never did. I hope that they have good liability insurance when they cause a wreck. Compare the picture to your hose. STAY AWAY!!

About 1/4 inch to short

Very satisfied. Fits exactly as expected. The new hose even comes with 2 new copper washers for the Banjo bolt.
