Cuisinart CGSS-780 Bourbon Molasses, 11.5 OZ (325g) Seasoning, Barrel Whiskey BBQ Sauce

My wife and I have been looking for a good bourbon flavored rub and this is it. Our local grocer has a section with pre-seasoned meats in it and we love their boneless ribs with a bourbon rub on them.... this is as close as we have gotten to theirs. I usually mix the seasoning with a little olive oil to coat whatever meat I am using it on... then sprinkle more on over the top of the meat before I put it in the oven or on the grill.

This seasoning is great. We use it with out pellet smoker, and the flavor is great.

It taste great on venision steak cubes but I put it in ground venison and made it into jerky and it doesn't taste good unfortunately. I was trying to do a bulk batch in the same flavor as nesco maple bacon jerky seasoning. Tried it on some cubes of steak and we super happy with the flavor put it unto the grind meat and dry it just to be super disappointed. My fault not the seasonings. So still giving it 4 stars if used as intended.

So good on anything pork! And makes a great dry rub for chicken on the grill. Especially if you're using a spicy BBQ sauce. Balances the heat with some sweetness.
