Couplers allow you to connect rocket body tubes together. They can also be used by an experienced rocket builder to epoxy the coupler to a screw on engine retainer cap (such as used on the Estes 29 mm models) for an additional booster section. They have many uses other than just connecting tubes together. They are also commonly used for ejection charge baffles from BT-55 size up to BT-80 sized body tubes (small to large). Some uses may require sanding the coupler itself for an easier fit.
