and it opens up just like it's supposed to and is actually pretty easy to ...
I bought this for my Frozen-obsessed four year-old niece and it was the star of her Christmas gift haul. I told her that the castle was magic and she had to sing Let It Go to make it open, which my sister probably hates me for. But it came with everything it said it would, the lights and sounds all work well, and it opens up just like it's supposed to and is actually pretty easy to close up again. My only problem with it is that the instructions are a little (perhaps accidentally) confusing. The packaging emphasizes wearing the cuff bracelet and waving your hand over it to activate it. Maybe I was overthinking it, but I assumed this meant there was some kind of RFID system between the cuff and the castle (like a TV remote). As it turns out, there's nothing special about the bracelet besides making the kid feel special; it's fully transparent and it's obvious there are no digital components in it. It's simply motion-activated. I recommend turning it off if you don't want it to light up and play music every time you get close to it.

Nice! Kinda small, but nice!
Really nice! My daughter loves it! Not very big, but it’s still nice!

expensive
It is a good gift but it was way too expensive. Walmart had it for much cheaper ($30) but it was out of stock at the time. . Unfortunately, it was the only thing my granddaughter wanted so grandma spent the extra money. It's cute but is much smaller than I had thought. However, I would not buy it again nor would I recommend anyone spend that kind of money for it.

Love it
My daughter and her friends absolutely love this toy, it is exactly as described and great quality. Excellent price. The castle is perfect for kids with good imaginations and Elsa fans. My daughter sits with this toy for hours having the most fun, she wears her Elsa dress and pretends to live in the castle.

Incredibly expensive for what you really get.
The castle is very fragile. The furniture will not stand up unless on a very smooth surface or table. My great granddaughter cannot play with it on the carpeted floor at all. The doll will not stand at all. She bends in a way that she cannot sit on any of the furniture. The legs on the furniture are toothpick size. So very disappointed. I did look at it but did not look close enough to see the accessories could not be played with as perceived by the child. The castle does collapse, it does play music, it does open "magically" with a wave of the hand, these are the only thinks my granddaughter played with. But when I tried to close it up and turn it off, could not make it happen.Keep shopping, do not waste $94 on this, I could have bought her Frozen lego figures that she could have played much more creatively.

Good idea but needs improvement
It's cute and any child that loves Frozen will like the castle, BUT the sensor (to the left of the doors) is sensitive. You're suppose to wave the magic cuff in front of the doors to make the castle rise, but if my daughter is even sitting within a foot or two it detects her motion and will rise on it's own. This kind of takes away the "magic" element. Also, the lights and sounds are limited to one snowflake lighting up and playing chiming music. It would've been really nice if it played "Let it Go." My daughter was a little disappointed that it didn't play any songs. As mentioned by others, the snap on pieces are very small and don't stay put very well. Elsa doesn't stand the best either (small feet to balance on).I got a decent price for this castle on Black Friday ($40), but I've seen it listed from $60+ at retail stores. In my opinion, it's NOT worth more then what I paid. For that kind of money it should work perfectly and include all of the characters and some songs. Also, I'm not sure if the play value is there long term. After you've made the castle rise a dozen or so times it kind of loses appeal.
