Works as good as the original. I have two Hampton Fans (4 yrs old and used seldomly on the patio) and now I have replace both. Very easy to do.

Had very little difficulty in replacing this receiver. The wire color codes on the new receiver were the same as on my original one. Now we have lights and fan working again. Better than buying new ceiling fan/ lights.

Easy to wire in as a replacement to the original Hunter Fan.

My 5 wire Hampton Bay ceiling fan is alive again! I kept buying the $20 receivers, either DOA or starting acting odd. This one works great, I ordered two more. Also the click when switching speeds is very quiet.

I have had bad luck with aftermarket electronics and specifically look for parts with manufacturers label. This part is labeled as "hampton bay" but is not manufactured or branded by them. It worked fine... but i prefer it if the seller labels product as "compatible"

For now, 4 stars because it works properly on a Hampton Bay Almeida fan. It is not an OEM part unless it was intentionally downgraded in quality compared to the original receiver. Component weight alone tells the difference. Outside of that, it was an easy install replacing 1 of 2 other cloned unit where one failed at start and the other lasted only 13 days. This unit has the same functionality as the OEM part - Using original remote - Lights on, bright, dim functions; Fan on, speed control, reverse functions; remotely operated from 10+ feet; receiver even has the original's 1-3 second pause when the light is switched on from the wall switch. The other units were immediate. So far, so good. Let you know if it doesn't last.
