Its a great light. Large which is helpful if you're trying to illuminate yourself in a home office environment, or for family portraits etc.Great built quality and a useful set of components. As luck would have it, I had a faulty set of LEDs on one of the rings. They all lit etc. but there was a flickering effect on one particular set of LEDs in the ring, when the lamp was on a low light level (c25%) and in warmer light tones (3700K ish). I raised this with Amazon as a complaint, it was addressed by Caiying promptly (& courteously) and a replacement light has just been delivered within a matter of days. For that, I'm very grateful. Thank you; good seller experience. Recommended

I love this ring light when I first used it, it had all the options and things that I like to fool around with but the second time I tried turning it on, it didn't turn on and it doesn't turn on anymore. I even tried plugging it in a different port and it still won't turn on. Please let me know if I can get an exchange, NOT a refund and I will change my review on this post.Thank you!

This is my second Ring light from this company. The first was good, but lacked one important feature that other lights of mine have: battery power option. I often shoot outside, and having to run a long extension cord is inconvenient. Enter this version of the light! I super appreciate the ability to power this with 2 batteries. They are compatible with the NP-F series of batteries, but these batteries do not come with the unit.Three other things I really liked about this particular light are:1. How thin the light is;2. The red, green and blue diffusers;3. The carrying case.One thing that I would like to see, although I am not discounting the number of stars for it, is the remote auto-powering down. I have run through a battery already, because I forget to turn the remote off.Note that this is an all-plastic light. If you are looking for a heavy, metal light, this is not for you. The plastic is good with me, and the price is competitive.I’m still waiting for an RGB ring light, but the coloured diffusers will do for now. And on that note, the coloured diffusers are very vibe-y! I like them more than I thought I would!

This light is not easy to use. It came with NO instructions so you have to finagle your way through everything until you figure out how to get it fully assembled. There’s no instructions on how to work the device either.The light is of good quality and comes with a remote to adjust the light. If you want any of the colours you will have to pull off the white lights and assemble the each of the various colour pieces. Not an intuitive product, but gets the job done none the less.Mine came with a missing the piece to hold my tablet to do video chats. Also, my phone adapter is so flimsy that it can’t even hold my phone without a case on it. I almost broke my brand new iPhone testing it out.**So buyers be careful using the adapters for your expensive equipment!!**If your serious about taking good photos and want to protect you expensive equipment, I would suggest saving up a few extra dollars for one of the professional ring lights that will ultimately save you a headache on the Ikea-like assembly (except Ikea gives you instructions) and you’ll save your expensive equipment from a terrible fate from poorly constructed adapters.If your looking for a ring light to do ‘lite work’, then this is for you!

This is my first ring light. I purchased it to setup a studio. I like how you can compressed it and its portable. The tripod had no compartment in the carry bag which is odd.I purchased it after 3 years pining for a light. I dislike how you see the ring in ppl’s eyes when watching videos but I was hoping a filter would diffuse this.The digital control panel in the back and remote are useful. You can change settings without getting up.The quality is good. The filter shields are plastic but if being careful like any other device, this can last a long time.Was an easy setup right out of the box.Adapter is useful as I do not have batteries which are not included.Overall good for a youtuber, artist, anyone who wants daylight while indoors.Lightweight.Will post pictures.
