I loved the design. I was building a "treasure chest" and these would look great on it. When the pair arrived, I installed the first hinge, drilling into the finish of the chest. When I opened the second hinge, it snapped off in my hand. Since I had already installed the first one, I was FORCED to purchase a second set. They look great, they look strong.. But they are not. Closer inspection shows they are made from cheap pot metal. I will not buy again. I gave an overall rating of 2 stars because they do look great.

I ordered a set of these hinges for a whiskey barrel we cut a door in. Within hours the hinges broke into two pieces. I ordered a second set, thinking maybe we got a defective set. While these lasted a little longer, they too broke in two. I really wish that there had been some type of weight rating or something in the description. Thats $30 down the drain! Would NOT recommend these for anything heavy duty.

These hinges are very loose at the pin...I ordered them for inset doors and I had to fight them the whole way making sure the pilot holes were drilled where the doors would be held in the perfect position by the weight of the door. There is like an 1/8" play from side to side on these hinges. They are not tight at all. I had 8 of them and they were all the same. The screws were wayyy to long to go into a typical 3/4" face frame. I had to buy 80 Screws! I could only find them at my local hardware store in stainless so I had to paint them all with satin black model paint which matched perfectly but obviously time consuming.

One of the hinges is missing a hole. They are not as tight as I expected (little wiggly), but would still probably work ok since the cabinet doors won’t be used that much. The missing a hole thing is problematic though

Pricey for what they are, but they did the job. The images and description show you exactly what you receive.

Good quality but there’s quite a bit of play side to side in them, if it’s for something that that wouldn’t effect or needs the play they are quite nice. I wouldn’t use them for cabinets or anything that you want to be solid when hinging open. Would buy then again for other projects.

Fast shipping of these heavy, sturdy iron hinges that look beautiful and were easy to install. Also, the seller Adonai Hardware included a lovely message and prayer in their packaging. Made my day!
