Complete scam
This cable is garbage. It makes you download an app to use and the app doesn’t even work. Waste of time! Thank god for Amazon returns.

Well this is depressing... Half works.
So I was excited for this product before it shipped in but of course I check the reviews after its purchased and seen a lot of negative feedback and thought "great. I should of investigated more". So I plug my Iphone 13 in. It works. No way does it charge it at all. Luckily I have one of those magnite chargers that zapps to the back of your phone. The games I wanted to play and the reason I got this product work fine. Youtube works, But Netflix and Hulu no way. Doesn't work. I mean thankfully it wasn't the reason I got the cable but I was told as a consumer it should work. What really upsets me is the supposive charging. Honestly I dont think its worth the 20$. If your ok with your phone app games being displayed, and a 3rd party way to charge your phone I can confirm works. But the rest, dont count on it. I'm going to attempt to get my money back and return it. I hope. I'd rather invest in something that works fully. One more thing to mention only a few minutes the HDMI end is plugged in feeling it feels hot as hell. I dont think that would be good for anything after a long period of time.

Easy to use, with minor issues
Feels of very solid quality - nothing flimsy about this! It does its job and does it well, I have little complain about there. There are two issues though. One, when connected to my relatively new - only ~2 years old - iPhone, it rejects it, saying that “this device is demanding too much power” or something similar. It has no issues connecting to my iPad, which is ~3+ years old. When screen sharing with a PC monitor, the quality and clarity of image is perfectly fine, maybe even better than on my iPad itself. When I try to share to my TV with this, though, the image is grainy, though this may be because I don’t do higher quality than 1080p.

Lighting HDMI cable
I couldn’t be happier with this HDMI iPhone cable! It’s a total game-changer for streaming movies and videos from my iPhone to my smart TV. The setup was super simple—just plug it in, and it works flawlessly without any complicated instructions or additional apps. The picture quality is fantastic, with no lag or buffering issues, and the sound syncs perfectly.I love how convenient it is for family movie nights or sharing videos with friends on a big screen. It’s also great for presentations or displaying photos during gatherings. The cable feels durable and well-made, so I know it’ll last. If you’re looking for an easy, reliable way to connect your iPhone to your TV, this is the one to get. Highly recommended!

No longer working after IOS 18 update
This device was working well before IOS 18 update, and I have to wait for possible future IOS patches to fix this issue. Till now, the issue still persists. It was a 5-star, but now I can only put 3-star and suggest "do not buy" as the risk of not working is high. The issue is described as "this lighting accessory acquires too much power" message shown on the iPhone screen when the device is connected. The monitor will show a QR code to ask you download an APP. However, APP does not work as it always shows "devices not connected" even it is actually connected. In short, this issue is not fixable until apple patch their IOS system.Short-term solution: buy a powered lighting adapter instead, where the adapter can be powered from external power source instead of by the lighting port from the phone.
