Authentic Maeda-en Japanese Sencha Green Tea - 100 Foil-Wrapped Tea Bags (Pack of 2)

Maeda-en Green Tea with Macha Sen-Cha has become my favorite green tea with its rich flavor, great quality, and consistent reliability. I "nuke" a bag starting with cold water for three minutes and enjoy. Over and over again. I am slowly converting those around me who I suggested this brand or gifted this brand to. Genmai-Cha also makes a nice Roasted Rice & Green Tea with Macha. I buy directly from Maeda-En with the best price and quick service.

We drink green tea daily instead of coffee and have bought this brand consistently since a trip to Japan in 2019. It is a great daily sencha green tea that retains flavor thru a whole pot of tea.

tea has a good taste and aroma, however, I recommend changing the picture and descriptions to Sencha with Macha and also a picture of the item.

My family and I love the taste of this tea; also the vendor is always great with quick deliver!!!

The seller makes a huge mistake and posts a wrong item.Maeda-en makes two different tea packages; one is "Authentic Maeda-en Japanese Sencha Green Tea - 100 Foil-Wrapped Tea Bags". The other one is "Authentic Maeda-en Japanese Sencha Green Tea with Matcha- 100 Foil-Wrapped Tea Bags". The picture shows "Authentic Maeda-en Japanese Sencha Green Tea - 100 Foil-Wrapped Tea Bags". But they sent me the latter one. The former one has better taste, if you really love sencha-tea. The seller must correct the webpage.

I normally purchased this at the local market & decided to save a little money through Amazon.Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to taste the same. Not sure why since it’s the same brand & packaging as from the local store. The tea just doesn’t seem to taste fresh to me. Perhaps it’s been sitting for a long period of time in a warehouse where temperature control could be a problem, I don’t know exactly.It may actually be worth spending a little more at the local store. At least I will be helping the local economy. 😊 I just wish it I can figure out why the tea lacks flavor.

Have been buying and enjoying this tea for years. That said, everyone has their own tastes. While I enjoy it, I'll leave it up to the individual buyer whether they enjoy it as well.

Rich in flavour, strong enough to use for 2 mugs if you like A LOT of tea at once. This is the best green tea in a bag that I've found.Individually sealed is a nice touch for transport and freshness, but does produce a lot of waste.
