I am so happy I finally found a sandal I love as this style shoe accommodates my long big toes and the strap around my big toes keeps my feet from going forward and my toes from going over the sandal edge. Extremely comfortable and stylish. The adjustable strap near the ankle makes the shoes feel secure and the pad at the back of the foot is very comfortable and will prevent blisters. I am glad I finally found a company that makes shoes for my feet and look forward to buying shoes from them in the future!

I was wary to purchase these shoes, because reviews were limited and difficult to find on the internet, even on the main website for the shoe brand. Based on reviews for other sandals by the brand, I made the choice to try these and hope that they would work for my upcoming vacation. I was not disappointed! I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis within the last year and have been using inserts in my shoes for a while. This was my first time venturing into sandals to help plantar fasciitis without the use of inserts, because I wanted a nice sturdy shoe for walking around and for comfort during long drives on the trip. I have worn them for two days now to get them broken in before the trip, and here is what I observed.Pros: The support on these shoes is amazing for plantar fasciitis, and I actually feel a bounce in my step when I walk. The fabric straps are more sturdy than appears in the picture, and hold your foot in the shoe surprisingly well. I even tried running with the shoes and my feet did not slip out in any way. BTW, the straps are adjustable, which is a bonus. The strap on the back of the foot is soft and does not rub me in any way, which is something I am picky about. Also, the strap that goes between your toes is really comfortable.Cons: Although these shoes are supportive and great for walking around town or maybe even a light trail, I don't know if I would use these for hardcore trails due to lack of ankle support and how open they are on top of the shoe. It is just fabric straps crossed over each other. I have not tried them on the trip yet, so using them in water and walking long distances has yet to be truly tested. I have only used them in daily activities so far. The fabric straps, although soft and comfortable, take a little getting used to at first, but I already feel that they are stretching to my foot. I do notice slight pressure on my small toes at first when I put them on, but then again I have sensitive feet. However, I have no rub marks or blisters as of yet anywhere on my foot, which is a good sign. The shoes are not super easy to slip on and off, because you have to adjust the straps slightly each time you put them on and it has a good grip on your big toe. This may be a hindrance if you are planning on wearing these to the airport and have to throw them on quickly after going through the checkpoint. Perhaps this is a good thing though, because you can be sure it is not falling off your foot anytime soon.I can't say for sure how they would fit a wide foot, because I'm average, but the straps are stretchy, so that's a good thing. I can attest that they are true to size. I am normally a size 9 and 9 fit perfectly without my foot hanging over or having extra room. I hope this review helps someone looking for arch support. I would definitely consider trying some other shoes by this brand in the future as well. :)

They are good looking but not dressy, and extremely comfortable. The straps are soft and stretchy, not tough canvas as I expected from the photo. The toe loop helps them stay on well. I am an 8.5 but bought an 8 since half-sizes weren’t available. I wished I’d gotten a 7 since the sole protruded out a ways both in front and back. But that’s purely for appearance - even though they’re on the large side, they fit very comfortably.

True to size. Comfortable and supportive. Able to wear all day with no pain to my picky feet that suffer plantar fascitis if a shoe is just slightly off. Cute enough to wear with a dress.

I love the adjustable strap to tighten or loosen them. They fit well, are comfortable, lightweight, and supportive. The only draw back is there isn’t a half size option. They’re a *tad* too big but not uncomfortably so.

First off, I wear a size 9 shoe, but based on reviews, I ordered an 8 so as to have room to adjust as the elasticity aged. The reason I ordered this style, is because i have large bunions on my feet, and have found stretchy strappy sandals that go over the big toe don't bother them like leather straps do, as well as having the benefit of hiding the bunions somewhat.THE GOOD:1) VERY comfy footbed with perfect weight distribution.2) The footbeds do not have a very bumpy, nor dotted surface. This is good, because my old Skechers have the tiny round impressions that constantly feel like little suction cups with every step I took, and would irritate my feet. Apparently, I have a "sensitive sole" ;)3) While the toe was a bit snug, but still acceptable. With time, it would become more comfortable, so that was okay.THE BAD:1) The front of the footbed seemed to stick out a bit farther than I'd imagined. I compared these (white/grey Viakix sandal sz 8) to another color of Same SIZE/MAKER/STYLE, which I purchased at the same time. Turns out these (white/grey sandals) were Definitely LONGER by about 1/4", than the other colored pair by the same company, which had a perfect toe length. That is a large variance for a footbed, and I was afraid it might cause me to trip.2) These are VERY difficult to wrangle onto your feet, as they have no clasp, like my old Skechers sandals of the same strappy design had. I have a bad back & hips issues, so this was extremely frustrating & tiring for me to accomplish.3) One other issue I had with Viakix (the company, not the shoes) was that they stated they were New England based. However, the shoes are made in China, so I felt betrayed. I wanted to support an AMERICAN local business, NOT CHINA!OVERALL:The comfort of the sole was excellent, but the difficult time putting these on decided me against this pair. If these only had a clasp on top, they would be PERFECT, so long as the manufacturing dept kept the sole sizes uniform in the proper length.

I only wore in the house so far. The quality is great. The bottom bends like a sneaker. The front strap is adjustable. I have narrow feet so this style is great. Material is soft. Color is true to picture.

These shoes fit true to size and have been comfortable straight from the box. I have severe osteoarthritis in my knees, and even after wearing these all day, I have no pain at night, unlike regular flip-flops. They have great support for your arches and heels. I love them!

Waiting for summer to wear them out but so far very impressed, great fit and very comfortable! Nice looking too! As long as they last and I don’t end up with blisters, this brand will be my goto in the future

Me gustaron mucho. Tenía miedo de que no fuera lo que esperaba, en cuestión de calzado no soy fácil. Pero me sorprendieron. Soy del 5 en México y me quedaron perfectas. Las tiras son suaves y no lastiman nada. Mi pie es delgado, supongo que si tienes pues ancho puedes prevenir y comprar un poco más grande, aunque las cintas se pueden recorrer y tienen mucho para dar. Yo las compré para usar en calor y sólo me falta comprobar que mi pie respire bien, siento que es muy liso de la plantilla y los siento calientes, eso no me agrada pero ya veremos cómo me va de vacaciones.

These are awesome sandals in almost every way! If you are walking in rainy, puddly conditions your feet will get wet but the sole does not absorb water so you feet will be dry when the straps are dry. The straps don’t seem to stretch when wet and the sole didn’t get slippery. These Viakix sandals also stay on your feet when walking. No need to curl your toes or walk strange to keep your shoes on. The straps keep your feet firmly on the soles of the sandals. They are easy to put on and take off. The hardest part is getting your big toe into the non adjustable toe strap. This becomes harder still when the shoes are wet. When I say hard I mean hard hands free. Fingers easily help the big toe into its strap. The sole is moulded and comfortable for my normal, generally pain free feet.One strap across the top of the foot needs to be frequently tightened. The straps loosens on their own. I tighten the straps when I put on the sandals and occasionally when wearing them. Colour options are disappointing. The sandals look ok but I prefer brighter colours like pink. Maybe in the future Viakix will have these in pink and then I will need a second pair!

I originally ordered these in my usual size 8, but I found them a bit long for my foot. I returned and ordered a 7 and they fit so much better. They are cute and very comfortable too which is what I was looking for!
