Scotch ATG 714 Adhesive Applicator, 1/4 in Wide Rolls

I had constant problems with the tape adhering to the applicator on the inside. Nothing but trouble.

I make greeting cards, and I've gone through a LOT of "tape"-style adhesive, usually in the form of those small hand-held tape rollers, some refillable, some not. I'd seen this industrial-size tape rolle, but was leery of it due to its size. It just looked unwieldy to me.Then I had a chance to try one out at a friend's house. It was super easy, much lighter in weight than it appears. Once you get the hang of using the "trigger," it's a piece of cake to use.This model takes ONLY the 1/4" tape, but that's all I use anyway. Look around for the refills -- prices vary widely! Also, go to YouTube for the instructions on how to load the tape into the applicator. The printed instructions are INCORRECT! The tell you to thread the tape only as far as the applicator roller, then close the door and start using it. This won't work; the new tape leader needs to be drawn around all the way to the take-up roll. The YouTube videos will show you clearly what you need to do.

Overpriced for this item. The materials are not to last/plastic. Would expect more heavy duty for this price

probably the most user-unfriendly product ever. Wasted 2 rolls of adhesive, now the 3 d roll stopped sticking .this is the second time I bought this product , guess I forgot why I threw the first one out.For the $60.00 plus I wasted , I could have bought plenty of the small tape dispensers, and saved some time and nerves also
