It looks good, works really well and there is a lid despite other reviews. Be careful not to throw away the cardboard packaging before checking for the lid...I nearly did. I love my sparkling water and I love this machine

Really like this carbonator, it looks good and works well. Took a little time to work out how many compressions it took to make the water as sparkling as I like it, but on the whole I’m extremely impressed.

Easy to use

This was an Xmas gift - only had over 1 month. I have used 3 gas cylinders (1 Phillips & 2 Sodastream) already and by other comments on here this is excessive. A gas bottle is supposed to make 60L and I’m only making 10 sparkling waters bottles (that’s being kind) and we are only giving 4 small pumps (3 no bubbles)! I Think this is definitely a faulty item but Amazon won’t send out a replacement - they have offered to refund the item, but it has gone up £30 in price! I received a link to contact seller but there is no way of contacting them. How am I supposed to know when making a purchase that my order is not with Amazon!

Philips do not have an easy refill route in the UK. If you are looking to swap your Philips CO2 cylinder, Aarke will accept Philips canisters as a return if you order new cylinders from their website.

It works so, so much better than the one we had earlier - not the same brand. But why, please, is a bottle-cap not supplied with the bottle? I do have one that fits from the earlier soda-maker, but that is really not the point!UPDATE: My husband was squashing the box it came in, and found the bottle cap was there, after all. I take it all back - and am enjoying a glass of sparkling water even as we speak!

First off, you get this to make fizzy water and it does this well. My family were disappointed by the lack of satisfying sound you get from a SodaStream (I know that's bad isn't it). The bottle is good quality and all SodaStream stuff I had is compatible with the Drinks maker including the gas bottle and the drink bottle.Where this drinks maker is falling short is the lack of gas replacement bottles program. You cannot re-use the Philips gas bottles, so if you want a replacement program you have to get a SodaStream bottle and use their system. You could buy new Philips bottles all the time, but you would end up paying more and with a ton of heavy recycling. That really is something Philips need to address if they want to properly compete with SodaStream

Sinceramente tenía una confianza "relativa" en el aparato. Reconozco haberme equivocado : funciona perfecto y el resultado es exactamente lo que buscaba: agua con gas en cualquier momento!

Fácil de usar, e água fica com um gosto super bom. Costumo dar dois pumps de gás e fica maravilhoso. A garrafa mantém bem o gás, dura por uns dois ou três dias. É um alívio não gastar tanto com água com gás no mercado, carregar peso e depois o lixo cheio de garrafas de plástico.
