O.T.S Men’s 7000G Waterproof Digital Watch Hiking Outdoors Sports Watch

The Watch comes in a nice gift tin box. The tin box is pretty durable and attractive looking. The top of the tin is see through and visibly shows the watch. Inside the box, is the watch which is supported by Styrofoam, and included is the instruction manual. However, the manual did not seem applicable to this particular watch but a general watch. The brand name is also on the watch and some compass markings around the face of the watch.The look and feel of the watch is nice. It’s larger in size and may be larger for smaller sized wrists. For larger sized wrists, this watch will be adequate. The watch is thick and is not thin so if that is an issue for you please make note of that. The belt has adequate holes inside the belt for small or large wrists. The overall outlay of the watch is good as it’s easy to read the time, the day of the week, and the seconds ticking off as shown in the circular section of the watch. Each of the labels on the watch are a bit misleading though. For example, the watch has labels of compass and alti (altitude) but these are not what it shows. Rather, it shows the date and alarm functions that can be shown unless I am missing something. The light at the bottom of the watch allows the watch to glow blue including the day of the week which is nice in darker settings.Overall, the watch functions as intended. The watch has some nice functional features such as the light and the day of the week and seconds. I did find the watch rather to big and thick and for that reason give it a star less. But it is a decent watch for the price nonetheless.I have received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review for the product. Great value - nicely boxed great stocking stuffer.

I ordered this watch for my husband mainly because it states that it's waterproof. I was also hoping that since it's an outdoors sports watch he won't break it so easily!The watch is very nice looking and does look like the one in the picture. The instruction booklet was not very informative and so my husband basically played around with the watch to see what he could set and so forth. It looks really nice on him and has been holding up for almost a week now. Every hour there is a chime. It's not loud but noticeable.There is a discrepency when it comes to whether or not this watch it waterproof and that's a big deal. In the description it states:"Multi-functions watch,LED backlight display,chrono50m waterproof,drop resistant and shock resistant."Under the Product Parameters:"Waterproof:50m waterproof (Do NOT press any buttons under the water)"Functions:"Waterproof"So the way I would see it the watch is waterproof up to 50m and to not press any of the buttons. BUT then under Notes it states:"The watch is waterproof in the daily life,but do not wear it when you are swimming or having a bath"Under Product Specifications it states:"Water resistant depth 165 Feet"So which is it? last i knew when i took a bath i am not bathing in 50m of water. Even when swimming my husband doesn't plan to go deep sea diving therefore i wouldn't think swimming would be a problem either.I had told him that it was waterproof so he did go into the pool with our son and he hasn't had any issues since. He has also taken a shower with the watch on but again... will this only last for so long before the watch will stop working then? This is something i think the seller really needs to correct in their product information. The media could not be loaded.  The OTS 7000G is a good looking chunky sport watch that has all the basic functions you need at a very inexpensive price. This would be a great alternative for someone who wants the G Shock look without the expensive price.I happened to see a Youtube video of several G shock clones put through a torture test, and the OTS (a slightly different model than this one) was the only one to survive all the tests.It comes in a very nice clear topped metal tin that would make this a great gift item. It has decent instructions included. About the only thing they don't tell you is how to switch between 24 hour time and AM/PM.. Just get into the time set mode and keep advancing the time through 24 hour time, then it will switch to AM/PM time..The only things I would change about this watch are:1, Its hard to see the day of the week, Instead of showing all of the days of the week in very small letters, then blacking out the current day, it would be much better to simply have it show the current day of the week in larger letters.2. I can't figure out a way to turn off the hour chime function. It's not very loud, but there is nothing in the instructions, nor could I figure out any way to disable chime mode...I put this through a couple of quick dunk tests in the pool (see video), and it kept completely waterproof.The screen is very easy to read the time, and a push of the top right button displays the date,and the bottom right button displays the alarm time.Bottom left button puts it into stop watch mode, with right buttons used to stop/start and clear..Center bottom button turns on the night light mode, which is a nice blue color and makes for an easy read of the time in total darkness.The watch band is plenty long enough for a person with all but super large wrists..and is perfectly comfortable.Although the watch has fairly large bezel and is quite tall, it wears well as its fairly light,,, so it does not feel top heavy and sits still on the wrist.5 stars for a good looking, well functioning and very inexpensive watch..(I received this product for a test evaluation at a discounted price, in exchange for a fair and honest review...)
