This is a sturdy and elegant tie rack holding 20 ties, 10 on each side. I have been using this tie-rack for several years without any problems. The wood looks good - It is a solid piece of wood with a heavy varnish. The metal loops hold the ties safely and securely as long as there is only one tie per loop. The loops will take more than one tie, depending on the thickness of the ties, but then they may slip out. If you find you have too many ties then it is better to buy an extra tie rack one than to overload this one. Cheaper tie racks of the same design are available, but the wood will not be as hard, will be unvarnished and the metal loops will be thinner. Comparing the price of this tie rack with the cost of an individual tie suggests that it is worth the money, although the  slightly cheaper  versions of this design are just as functional. slightly cheaper

An easy to use, handy little tie hanger that holds up to 20 ties which, once they're hung is a lot of ties to be honest and with quiet a bit of weight to them it'll be interesting to see if the metal hook holds up to all the weight, although it does seem well made and is quiet compact so all your ties are kept in one easy to find crease free orderly place.

My partner made me buy lots of these as she didn’t think my 100 ties deserve a whole drawer. But they do work well - easy to pick on and take off. But do remember that ties are very long so they will trail as long as a dress and not like a shirt.

Item is damaged, not quite sure what's happened to it but one side is scuffed with large splinters of wood, which could damage ties and I did catch my hand on one particularly sharp splinter! Shame, as the item itself looks ideal for it's intended use! I will update if I decide to get a replacement.
