This is good sun protection, but it looks very goofy. They should have made it in other patterns/colors, because white/nude look like underwear on the face.

This is a great sun mask for those of us that are sensitive to the Sun. I read all the reviews, and decided even though I am an average female, to go with the extra large. I'm very happy that I did, as it nicely drspes my face without being too tight. I cut the elastic band that goes to the back of the of the head, so I can just Loop it around my ears for driving. Works perfectly the way I intended it to. My advice is to buy the xl for average to xl face.

EDIT: I was so impressed with this mask which I first bought 7 months ago that our family has ordered 5 of them. That is $125 worth of masks. Unfortunately, I can no longer stand by my 5 star rating and have dropped it to 3. Last week the nose wire broke (which I now see is a common complaint). I contacted Coolibar and all they offered me was 15% off a new one. I did the math, and I have probably worn this particular mast 20-30 times, mostly when exercising. Seems to be a defect in manufacturing for it to already be non-usable (I wear glasses, so need the nose wire to keep my glasses from fogging). I loved it when I first got it, but can no longer recommend... especially at this cost for a product that is less complex than a pair of walmart underwear.I spend a lot of time outdoors in settings where masks are required in certain situations. For instance, coaching soccer and doing trail work. Most of the time masks are not required, but when in close proximity during this time of COVID, I have to have something. I was using surgical masks, but taking them on an off all the time meant I either lost them, or they got dirty in my pocket. I love this mask because I can keep it around my neck when not in use, but pull it up when needed. Similar to a neck gaiter, but without the bulk.It fits pretty high on the face, but the open bottom makes it feel like you aren't suffocating. I have a pretty big beard, so this is a perfect option. Easy to breath through, even when you are exercising. I wear glasses and don't have any problems with fogging due to the wire in the nose bridge.Don't get me wrong, I would not recommend this for medical purposes, but if you have to have a mask while outdoors, this is a great option. In fact, you should know that when you hold it up to the light, you can see small holes through it. I would consider this a "better than nothing" option if you are looking for mask compliance and want something light and easy to put on / take off without losing it.

My first impression upon opening the package was that I had been shipped a training bra by mistake.It does fit over the face and head and covers the nose and mouth entirely, so technically it is a face covering.The materials used and the manufacturing technique is very similar to light weight undergarments.So, while it does more or less satisfy the item description I can't say that I'm particularly satisfied.I think that I will retain it so that at some point in the future I can show young people what a strange period this was when we thought strapping panties to your face would keep you safe. I'm going back to oversized bandanas, because with them I feel more like a bandit from a western, and less like a person wearing a training bra on my face.

I recently had laser resurfacing and want to avoid the sun on my face. I now wear a big hat and slip this on over the bottom part of my face. Great protection!
