High quality tool will save many a headache and last a lifetime.
Do not waste your money on the bar clamp style flaring tool, it is meant to do single flares. This tool by capri works excellent. It is the same exact head as the titan tool just a different name. High quality. Works great on steel line. Produces factory double flares on copper nickel and on steel line. Good line preparation with a flat file to remove the rolled in edge on the end from the tubing cutter wheel and then hit the inside with a chamfer tool or a drill bit larger than the line to break the burr and leave a clean edge for the tool to make a real nice double flare.

Holding the tubing in place
I read this was a frequently returned item. The only way I can see this being returned would be if someone bought the wrong size. I just done my first double flare with this tool using steel tubing and it turned out great. I had tried several cheap clamp type flaring kits with no success. The CAPRI held the tubing in place and made a perfect flare. Just follow the instuctions and use the grease. I will be buying more of these CARPI in different sizes as I need them.

these are nice. the hydraulic ones work but this is small and easy to use in tight spaced.

Highly impressed
This was a life saver for me on my steel lines that were on my truck. A normal cheaper double flare tool slides and this grips very well. Just make sure to tighten down all the way and strip away any rubber coating to bare metal if you brake lines have it. Very much worth the money and makes building a perfect double flare super easy every single time. Wish I would have found this prior to buying the cheaper tool kit.

Works good! I messed up a few when I first got going. Follow directions is important!

Great tool, works in tight places
The media could not be loaded. Works amazing, especially in tight places compared to conventional flaring tools. I only wish there was a way to store the stop and flaring punch on the tool at the same time. I was able to flare a line on my truck in 10 degrees weather very easily. I have used an impact on it, although I don't think it's recommended I didn't have an issue using caution to not go too far.
