This was purchased as a gift for my dad, who has mild Alzheimer's. Whenever we travel, he always points out this sign and makes a comment about the deer. He also shares a story about deer in his backyard. As a way to help maintain this particular memory and prompt dad to share/talk, we purchased this sign to post in the backyard. He loves it and shows it to everyone who visits. It is extremely well-made and sturdy; in fact, one of my friends asked if I had "borrowed it from the highway"! It really does look like an original highway sign.

Great safety measure if you have a deer highway on your road and the DOT doesn’t care despite we’ve had one take out my mailbox before after being hit. Easy to nail to a tree or zip tie to a stake. Super reflective

Expectations over drive, high quality materials used. I expect this sign will last a very long time. Once the weather clears, it will be installed on a private easement. High marks for reflected background.

FYI - I bought this sign to put up in front of my house to make aware to drivers that this was a major deer crossing section. I got a letter a few weeks later telling me I couldnt post any sign "advising" drivers what to do and had to remove them. Even if it is on your property... if a driver can see if from the road, you will be told to take it down. Stupid but true.
