Vetta V100 WL2X really delivers. A great computer at a great price!
I commute 25 miles to work every day and take long weekend rides as well. I wanted a Cycling-Computer with Cadence but did not want to pay the big bucks. The Vetta V100-WL2X was under $55. The setup was quick and easy. All of the mounting hardware worked fine and the computer fit perfectly on my handle bars. (Not made to be mounted on the stem) There are 18 functions so the menus take a little getting used to but once you do it does everything you need. It is very accurate for both speed and cadence. The receiver is solid with no drop-outs for both speed or cadence. I did a century ride this weekend and the data from the Vetta matched my GPS almost exactly. A great computer at a great price!

I am keeping it, but I really don't like it.
I became a cadence watcher several years ago and my old cyclometer died, so when I spotted this unit on Amazon I grabbed it.The original box came with a defective cadence magnet. I contacted Vetta via their website and to date I have heard nothing back from them. At 7 days I contacted Amazon and they got me the part free and I had it in had a couple days latter. The distance accuracy is only accurate to .1 miles (over 500 feet), my old unit was .01 miles (within 50 feet). The cadence readout is snug up against the right side of the display and if there is any kind of a shadow you cant read the right digit. The price seemed more than fair but with accuracy of distance only accurate to within 500 feet, the cadence hard to read and defective parts in the original box I rate this cyclometer only one star.

two malfunctions
1. The cadence transmitter constantly drained its battery2. The thermometer always reads 88 FRather than hassle with the return/repair, I spent a little more and bought the Cateye double wireless, which I am very happy with. The Vetta is going into a corner of my garage.

Overpriced & disfunctional, its 2008 & cycling engineers still can't produce a decent wireless cadence/cyclometer for less $100
Read the reviews before purchasing this computer, I read them and chose to believe the better ones.Basically Vetta doesn't deliver. I've purchased other wireless computers without cadence and they've included several options for mounting. This is where Vetta needs to step up. The cyclometer cannot be mounted to a stem. This is so basic, many people don't have room on the handle bars or in my case have aero handlebars that are shaped like an aerofoil, a time trial setup. I spent considerable time fabricating a mount for the aero bars and remotely locating the wireless pickup. After all was said and done the unit cuts out every now and then. Which renders your trip info useless. And when you start rolling it doesn't automatically switch from the clock setting to trip/speed information. So if you are more interested in owning an overpriced watch this is the unit for you. Oh I forgot to mention the cadence because it never works, you have to have the receiver so close it's ridiculous.Vetta and other manufacturers need to rethink the cyclometer, why is it that a cell phone costs less than a cyclometer? Why is signal strength such a problem and why do we have use wires if we want cadence in the year 2008?

This Cycle Computer has been a work horse!
After years and years of having a V100 with Cadence n my older steel bike- I needed to transfer the computer to my new bike-a BMC Team Machine. All the functions still work flawlessly except the cadence which doesn't seem to fit on this new bike. I really don't race anymore and my cadence is no longer an issue, so now problem. After 30+ years my cadence is what it is. Set up just takes about a minute or two; very easy and intuitive! This computer is a work horse-solid on either the old steel bike and the new Carbon Fiber BMC.

Nice and solid Bike Computer
This is my third bike computer. The first was a wired version, then I had a CicloSport wireless with all the bells and whistles, but it fell off it's mount on a ride (lost forever). This Vetta is solid and functions as promised. The Cadence works perfectly and it's easy to switch between screens on the display. The biggest plus for me is the robust clamp mount to the bike and computer. When you slide it on to the mount, it makes a solid click. The only slight negative is that the display is not very bright. Over-all, its a great product, and I would buy it again.EDIT:It has been several years now, and the Vetta has been rather unpredictable. I've pretty much given up on it due the inaccurate readings. Bought a Garmin 500, all is good.

Works like it should!
I bought this for my road bike. It has endured a lot of heat and sun and some rain without any problems! It works well and I don't have any problems with wireless reception.Installation was easy, my bike's tubes are very angular and the included braces did not fit very well, however a tire tube I had thrown around provided excellent cushion to smooth out the triangular tubing I have and the braces did the rest! (I don't think any company provides braces for my Marin bike triangle tubes)The only thing I would say this lacks is a backlight for night riding and maybe also more freedon when choosing what the displays reads out (There are pre-set groups like: Cadence and Speed, Time and Odometer) but it would be nice to be able to choose the ones you want at whim. All in all, excellent for the price. The other Cateye option I was looking at had the same features for a lot more money... I will have to see how well it stands the time, but so far I would definitely recommend VETTA and their products.

It's Okay
I've had mine since 2009. It started to malfunction in 2011. I sent the computer back, still a problem. I sent the whole thing back to the distributor -- sensor, mount, eveything. They replaced the whole setup. Good customer service. So-so product for the money. I bought the heart monitor...hardly use it.
