Easy to program
I bought this item because I am an irresponsible girly who can't remember where she puts anything. And well frankly I'm trying to hide that last part from my husband. When it finally arrived I waited for my husband to go to work because I knew I was gonna need some time to really understand how to install these devices. To my surprise it literally took me 5 minutes to get both remotes synced to the garage door opener. Unfortunately though I managed to erase my husband's garage door remote from the device. Oops.

Does not work
I am a garage door technician and this product is a knock off of the original it looks good and appears to function but does not program, Do not waste you time. DOES NOT WORK

Who knows where the old remotes went but here are the new ones. They work great and I we haven't lost them yet.

Programming isn’t terrible but range is.
I moved into a new house with chamberlain openers so bought 3 different oem models to test. This one has the worse range of them 3. I have an original chamberlain branded opener and it’s also bad range. Programming wasn’t too bad and worked on 3 different color learn buttons I own. I could see the process would confuse simple minded folks so they might need help. I will keep this as a loaner to folks who rarely visit but I’d go crazy using this daily and having to open the window and stick my hand out window to get it to work.

Range isn't what it says it should be
This won't open the garage door until I'm halfway up my driveway (about 60ft from the door). I try to hit it at the entrance of my driveway (about 90ft from door, driveway is not straight) and it won't open until I get to the right turn. A little bigger than I was expecting as well, but a good size nonetheless.

Bought these for my mother when her garage door opener stopped worker. It was great not have to call the company that made her old ones. Easy to install.
