CURT56011 Vehicle-Side Custom 4-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness, Fits Select Civic, Fit, Accord w/o LED Taillights, Mazda 3, CX5, Mitsubishi Galant

I recieved the harness in perfect condition in a very timely manor. The written instructions were exacting but the illustrations were really too small for my old eyes. To be sure, I checked the web and there are several videos that confirm the installation technique. The harness installed exactly as stated and fit perfectly.The only drawback I had was that I ordered the hitch and harness for a trip my wife was taking in a few days. She had a borrowed church trailer and when I hooked it up, brake and running lights funtioned but not the turn signals. The trailer was brought to us by an older pickup truck so I reattached the trailer lights to the pickup and everything worked just fine on it, but not on her 2014 Mazda CX5. So with only a few hours before she was to leave, I called Customer service and told them what I had. The call was answered almost immediately and they spent enough time with me on thephone to say it was a totally unusual event and he was sending out a new harness right away. In the few days between calling with a problem and recieving a new harness, I went and acquired a lighted tester since my mulimeter was dead. The harness was functioning perfectly and the trailer was the problem. Now I have to send back the replacement with my apologies for being a doofus. Every aspect of this product is good and I would absolutely recommend or buy again.

Simple installation and works as it should. Great product and had everything needed to hook it up.

Super easy to install and I'm a middle aged female, if that matters. I followed along to an online video on the etrailer website called "Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Mazda CX-5" - just search for it. Wire harness worked great and and was easy to attach to and to remove from trailer.

Found this as a deal. I didn't need it for it's meant product design (no trailer hitch), but I needed to tap into wiring without wanting to splice into factory harness. It was very easy to install, and you can hide wires with the supplied zip ties. It only took me minutes to install with just a couple of hand tools. Instructions are included, although I never looked at them, thanks to YouTube. LOL

This harness is definitely built from quality materials. It was fairly easy to install. Signals work and so do the brake lights so the converter box came working out of the box.One thing that could improve is the length of the joined wires going from the converter. You have to peel away some wire to get the right turn signal wire to reach properly, and even after peeling it all it was difficult to mount the converter box. If it was longer it would have been easier to find a decent mounting spot for the converter box behind the trim panel.

Everything is included for easy hookup It takes about 10 minutes maybe 15 with little or no skill

I found that the videos online were more useful than the printed instructions, but both were helpful. It fit my Honda Civic perfectly, no need to drill holes or cut wires.

install was a breeze works as it should with no issues

The media could not be loaded.  This kit is so simple to install. The hardest part was trying to remove the boot panels but fortunately I was able to find an instructional video online for my car model to follow. The length of the green wire for the RH indicator was a little short when looming it under the panels and was just enough to reach the light connectors.

Easy to install, the Youtube video they had for my car make/model was clear and easy to followIt worked flawlessly , as it should.

Great kit - watch the install video Curt makes - it is very literally step-by-step. This is a dead easy install that takes 45 min even if you have literally no idea what you’re doing (I can definitely attest to this). The only call out is to be careful where you stick on the controller/box - I thought I put it in the same place as shown in the video, but the plastic trunk trim butted up against it when I was putting everything back together. No biggie - just had to back up a couple of steps and move it slightly. Also, be gentle on the plastic fasteners or you’ll snap them.
