ClosetMaid5062 All-Purpose Organizer, White

Product (which is particle board) was poorly stained, primer showing through in many areas. One board has a minor crack. Another was chipped in the corner. The backing is a very thin piece of cardboard that was creased. The product gives off a strong odor (hopefully that will go away in a couple of days). The instructions were incorrect. Original packaging was all beaten up. It was taped to hold it together & put into an over sized Amazon shipping box. For the purpose I am using it for, it is not worth returning nor the shipping time to get a replacement. This should not have happened.The odor it gave off eventually went away.This doesn't change my rating.

Este organizador tiene buen tamaño y diseño, si bien los materiales dejan un poco a desear.Es aserrin comprimido con chapa plastica, esperaba algo más duro como mdf. La relación precio-calidad es aceptable pero nada espectacular ya que no son muebles grandes.Lo interesante es que puedes acoplarlo con otras unidades.Lo tengo desde hace tiempo y en una sección que tiene varios libros pesados si se ha pandeado ligeramente.Lo recomiendo si no piensas poner nada muy pesado en ellos.Es muy fácil armarlos. Necesitarás un desarmado y pegamento blanco. Los taquetes que trae para unir las secciones al meterlos en las tablas no entra la mitad exacta para que entre la otra mitad en la otra tabla, pero alcanza a quedar suficiente para agarrar bien. Talvez debierons incluir taquetes un poquito más largos. Por lo mismo es recomendable el pegamento como dice en las instrucciones porque algunos entran más flojitos y por lo mismo de que de un lado no entran igual se pueden salir si lo ensamblas sin pegamento.Una vez armado se ve muy bien y es fácil de limpiar.Cabe mencionar que por la forma de estar empacado de fábrica algunas tablas vienen un poco ralladas o hasta un poco lastimadas de las esquinas. A mi gusto podrían mejorar el empacado.En resumen es un buen mueble organizador que se adapta a muchos espacios y lugares y puedes mezclar con otros de la marca y se unen, pero no esperes materiales de primera por el precio.

2 parts arrived “drilled backwards”, so the only way you could properly assemble it would be to have the unfinished edge of part of your shelf facing forward, which would look awful. I returned it… No problem with the return, but I ordered a replacement and it had the same issue. This time I just assembled it anyway… and it looks awful. At least it’s in my closet and no one will see it, but not happy laying out a $100 for something that I’m not at all happy with.Will also note - I ordered half a dozen other storage units and coffee/end tables at the same time all from Amazon (but other companies/manufacturers), and this by far had the least clear assembly instructions and most problems, despite being the smallest thing with the fewest pieces I ordered.

Bought this to store hats and gloves in the upper space of the closet. It is perfect for that purpose. Not terribly difficult to install. The pieces are labeled (A to G) with pretty good illustrated instructions. A couple of tips. You don't need to use glue on the dowels. They are there to hold the pieces in place while you screw them together. Also, the screw holes are all pre-drilled so the screws should not offer too much resistance. If they do, it means the pieces are not properly lined up.

Dislike, for $85 I thought it'd be better quality. I know that's still inexpensive, still quite poor quality. One board the holes were drilled in the wrong side. So now when its facing out it's all white edging but one side. It was fairly easy to put together if the holes for the wood peg were drilled better as well. One side I had to bang them in with a board and hammer. When I tapped it with a hammer I could see the white board part start to bulge. So I had to get a board for in between the wood peg and hammer. I had another closet piece I was ordering but cancelled it immediately after putting this one together. It's not horrible for a kids closet but I wouldn't want to use this for my front entrance closet.Do not like
