A first aid kit must...
You can get similar dressings (albeit a tad smaller at 10x7cm) from Superdrug, costing £3.20 for 5.As such, with a box of 25 costing £6, these are excellent value - and you get same day delivery!I find these dressings to be easy and effective to use - just as good as any others I have purchased. I am allergic to normal plasters so these are a godsend - and much easier to use rather than a dressing held down by Micropore tape. While advertised as 10x8cm, the actual pad area is about 6x5cm - which is adequate for most grazes and lesions. However, you do need to ensure the surrounding skin is dry before application.I usually treat the lesion with an antiseptic spray, dry the surrounding skin and then leave it for about 5 minutes before applying a dressing. I change the dressing once or twice a day.Once applied, these do stick well to the skin and can be tricky to remove even after a shower. I find pulling gently at a corner works best and is relatively painless (though ensure the lesion is fully covered by the absorbent pad rather than the sticky area!).I now keep a supply of these in our kitchen and car first aid kits - and it's generally better to have a dressing that is too large rather than too small!

Must have
Bought these to cover turf burns I had. They adhesion was perfect and had no problem with them sticking or peeling around joints when moving or getting dressed. I had to clean my burns daily so never left them on longer than a day but they were still firmly stuck after 24 hours and had to peel them off. My burns were leaking a fair amount but this was fully absorbed by the dressing and never felt uncomfortable. I did have a little itching in the second week of using this but this could be from the continuous wear so just monitor yourself if using for a long period as skin may become sensitive. They come individual wrap and are easy to apply will definelty be keeping some in my first aid kit.

Good Plasters For Small Wounds
The product is a fabric plaster which is white in colour. The plasters are individually wrapped and have a good surface area for small wounds. The adhesion goes all around the sterile wound pad so it gives excellent coverage of the wound. The outer wrapping and the plaster backing paper are easy to peel off. The plasters have good adhesion although they can roll up at the edges if you put on tight clothing afterwards. The plasters are not waterproof and may have to be removed before bathing/ showering. I have worn the plasters for up to two days before removing with no problem. As with all adhesive plasters these can leave sticky marks on the skin after removal but this is easy to wash off.

Great value for money
I think these are excellent value for money and they have been great for dealing with my hidradenitis suppurativa flares. When I have a bad flare I clean the area, put on a cream and patch it up with one of these dressings. The only thing I'd say is to change the dressings regularly at least twice a day (morning and evening) as the adhesive is quite strong and it can hurt quite a bit to remove as well as adhesive residue left on your skin, but I found changing twice a day solves that problem.

Great dressings and a great price
Really great dressings. They have the fantastic ‘hypafix’ adhesive which sticks well even to moisturised skin. Great value too. One thing though, the size description relates to the overall size, not just the inner pad. Bit misleading but I kept them anyway as they’re such good quality.

An essential in our first aid kits
Most of our family are allergic to normal plasters so for small scrapes we use micropore tape. However, for any larger cuts, this can get untidy with dressings held on by tape.As such, these are brilliant for us and I always keep a supply in both our home and car first aid kits. These are a reasonable size and cover most situations. They also adhere very well even in a shower.£5 for 25 dressings (including same day Prime delivery) is excellent value. Indeed, in 'leading; chemists on the high street you can pay more for just 5 dressings -a real rip-off.

In the words of Tony-The-Tiger,
They're Grrrrrreat! My mother had a stroke two years ago and has now become 'unsteady'. She bangs into things and hurts herself...These adhere quickly to her open wounds quickly and with the minimum amount of fuss associated with plasters. Furthermore, being quite old, her skin tears quite easily and removal of these does not tear her skin.So yes, a good quality product.

dressings that stay on.
my wife was a senior nurse for many years and used these dressing in the hospital. I have very thin skin caused by being on long term steroids, I also have an auto immune problem, the thin skin causes problems as I only have to brush passed a hedge or bramble and I get cut and scratched to ribbons. and because of the auto immune problem I need to kee4p any cut or scratch covered up to prevent infection. these dressings are ideal , they are already cut to size and can be self applied . the other good thing is that they do not come unstuck even after bathing or in the shower. the only problem I do have is they are to good and you have to take care when removing the dressing . an ideal dressing which no matter how hard you try they will stay in place until you carefully remove them.
