Q: How large can this vest be adjusted to? I am a standard large size...however, during winter...can this adjust to fit outside of heavy outerwear?

Yes. It’s pretty much just like the Army standard issue FLC. And can adjust to a pretty reasonable size. I personally keep it loose do it can fit around my IOTV. So it should definitely it around Heavy winter gear.
