Syma S107 RC helicopter Remote Controller

Item purchased on Amazon, sold by "Cool Stuff Place". Item was delivered properly by Amazon but seems to be defective, and doesn't work as expected. Put in 6 AA brand new batteries, turn on the controller. No LED power, the tested SYMA RC helicopter was on but nothing happened. RC helicopter blades didn't turn.Wasted money.Be aware that no refund for this item thru "Cool Stuff Place" unless damaged.

It looks like in the RC Helicopter world, every manufaterer has it's own remote control only compatible to a particular model. Being so, if you are ordering an RC toy without it's remote to save on money hoping that one of the ten remote you already have will work, forget it, it will not and I have not found a way to fix that. You can guess by now that I learned that the hard way.This remote control for the Syma S107g works good, it is light and easy to use.

Got a Syma 107 RC helicopter from a vendor, but their catch was that I had to call in for a demo to get the controller. No interest in wasting time so I just let the copter sit. After a year, I decided to finally play with the darn thing alittle, maybe my daughter would like it. Bought this controller, worked straight away. My 22mo loves watching the helicopter fly around and asks for "mo, mo, mo" until the charge dies. The controller uses alkaline batteries so it's been fine for a few months of occasional use so far.

The remote that came with my son's helicopter never worked from day one. It was identical to this, so we ordered this replacement part. It initially didn't work either, but I stretched out the springs a little to tighten the battery fit, and then it worked. Now that it is working, it's very very cool. :-)

My original control was damaged, which is why I decided to buy this.Unfortunately, this does not work ... So far it works perfect. Turned it on and instantly starting flying my S107. One minor issue though, I'm not sure if I fancy the spring loaded throttle stick. I guess it's a personal preference but it does change the flying experience a little compared to a free moving throttle.Other than that its an exact duplicate of the original. Works great.

I couldn't get it to bind with any 107 I have and it didn't look new ,,it came on and I tryed it with both the 107's the ones that came with the spring on the left stick and the 107's with out the spring loaded controller ,, just would not work

Despite not getting real brand name, the controller worked fine and it synced well with the helicoper. Sometimes the controller acted fishy, the light on the middle was turning red somethings and stranglely even more, YELLOW...
