Diego, the puppy, has shark-like/vampire-like teeth and he loves to chew as most puppies do. He is into fine linens, pillows, blankets, tissues, paper towels, napkins, toilet paper big time, but this giant ring seems to satisfy those cravings. It is sturdy, heavy-duty, and keeps both dogs interested. Kisser is willing to share, but not Diego so we got both them another NYLABONE too just to keep them [and us] happy.Not only made for fun this ring discourages destructive chewing, fights boredom, and helps clean teeth and freshen breath. It is recommended for dogs up to 50 pounds. You can hand wash and dry to keep it looking good.At the bottom of the package is a graph that starts with GENTLE CHEWING STYLE and works it way up to EXTREME CHEWING STYLE. This ring is for EXTREME chewers. Kisser is a gentle girl and chews like a lady. Diego? Dang, he's like a chain saw but this ring stands right up to him and his nasty little teeth. It's fun to watch both of them play with this also.I like NYLABONE products as the packaging comes with directions and recommendations. Plus, they are made in THE USA and that's always a plus in my book. We've been buying Nylabone products for decades and if you're reading this review then chances are like, us your dogs are in every way family. That said I have found Nylabone products to be overall exceptional and most importantly safe.Especially if you have hardcore, aggressive chewers. The Souper bones and giant Galileo have been long time favorites of two Old English Bulldogs - they last a good long time and we discard them when they show signs of fraying and wear.Our youngest Elvis, recently had major surgery to remove a piece of rubber toy from his intestinal tract. An awful ordeal and harrowing experience. How he got this toy we don't know as the only rubber toys we give them are Kong my hunch is he came across something in the yard or park. So we will be even more diligent when it comes to choosing toys with the utmost care.For some reason I had never tried these Nylabone rings, so I purchased two of them and talk about an immediate hit! Both our dogs LOVE these virtually indestructible chew toys.The shape is sensational, both of our guys use one paw to hold the ring on end and chomp away. Also great for a little Human fun as you can grip on end of the ring and have a little Tug-O-War time which our kidz adore.These are a great size for any medium to large dog, they're intrigued by the shape and again, are NUTZ over them. The rings are made of the toughest Nylabone polymer and have held up amazingly well.Highly recommended.5 PAWS UP!

I always love Nila bone products. This is the second time I have purchased this round one. The first one was purchased over five years ago and is still going strong. It’s really great for my teething puppy and it’s durable and a safe toy.

I have bought these ring Nylabones for years, and all our dogs love them! They are strong, durable, and last a long time...so they are a great value! We have had large dogs...and small dogs...and the medium size of these rings works for all of our dogs. The ring shape is very easy and accessible for them to hold between their paws while chewing. They don't smell like anything to me -- but our fur babies must love the taste because they chew them all the time. They do chew off some big pieces from time to time that need to be thrown out before swallowed -- so I do recommend supervising and monitoring while chewing. These bones are quite hard -- so I can also see how this could be too hard on the teeth of some dogs -- particularly older dogs.

Our Jack Russell is a power chewer, and destroyed anything we bought. I was worried about her swallowing toy parts so we just threw everything away and gave her this and it’s great. She can’t do anything other than rough it up. So, she gets a new one about twice a year due to how rough it is. If you have a power chewer, get this!

The media could not be loaded. The Nyla bone industry will be just fine as long as my four-legged niece, Lola, is around. She comes to visit frequently and loves this ring. She is super strong. Likes to put it on someone’s foot and then tug away too. After 2 visits she has considerable chew marks all over it, but it will definitely take her a while to demolish this visiting 2-3 times per month. Definitely would go through it more quickly with daily use, but a nice thing to keep her happy while visiting. The ring design keeps her more occupied since she has to reposition it a bit. Happy Lola = intact home items.
