I don’t see what people are saying about a bunch oil and they might be doing it themselves but it’s supposed to have oil on it to protect the metal. The quality is there and there’s supposed to be ridges in it, the value is there money wise. Size is amazing and my father loved it.

Beautiful knife! I got it for my husband as a 14th anniversary gift in leu of ivory, unfortunately the sheath is falling apart for no apparent reason.. it’s not quite as sharp as you might like but it is very beautifully made! I just wish especially considering it was a present that The same care that went into making the knife went into making this sheath for it!
