Fantastic performance for the money
I've been shopping around for a sub to add to my home setup for a while. My budget was around 200$. I use my set up for everything from gaming, movies and music so I wanted an all-rounder sub. I went a little outside of my budget and it was well worth it. The Jamo c912 absolutely delivered what I was looking for. I was looking at Klipsch, Elac, Polk and Dayton in my price range and the Jamo stood out from the rest, for me anyway. Setup was a breeze. Very good quality of materials and overall build of the unit is very good. It has a removable grill and a front port. My room size is on the small side 12 x 15 feet approx. and it easily fills my room with sound. Movies had the deep rumble I wanted without being boomy. It can easily hit bass lower than 30hz. It made gaming more in depth and just added more impact to every game. I'm a big music listener and it absolutely filled in the much needed bass I was missing out on. Everything from hard rock to orchestral music was simply amazing. You won't be disappointed with this sub especially for the price. With a little effort in setting up your sub with your room and gear you will be very happy with this sub. Highly recommend getting this sub if your on a budget but don't want to sacrifice quality.

Best Bang for the Buck for Music Lovers
I was wanting to add some lower ends to my stereo set up. I have a 2 channel Denon receiver, 2 ELAC bookshelfs and 2 Wharfedale towers, but was lacking some of the lower ends, as Wharfdales tend to focus on mid-range, which I desire. I searched the various sites, and read multiple reviews, and decided to go with the Jamo C12.I got the white, since the price was already lower than the black, and there was an additional 5% coupon. The grill is a grey tweed, so the white does not look entirely out of place with my blank speakers. The sub came early and well packaged. It was very easy to set up and adjust. In minutes my stereo system was complete. I played every style of rock and roll imaginable. From electronic to folk/indie, early prog rock, 80's new wave, hard rock, and jazz fusion, and everything had the enhancement I was searching for.My purchase was for music only, so I'll leave the surround sound reviews to those who sought this unit for that purpose. In all.....if you are looking for an affordable, quality upgrade for your bass sounds, do not hesitate to purchase this unit.

The most important thing is, it sounds amazing
I picked this sub in part for its front-facing driver and port because I need to put it next to a wall. I also prefer the black ash finish. The only other sub I considered was the SVS SB-1000 (B08X51FVZS) which costs about 60% more. I'm really pleased with the Jamo, especially given the cost savings over the SVS. The bass sounds tight and punchy, not muddy or flat. Based on totally unscientific testing with the Android app Frequency Sound Generator by LuxDeLux it starts to noticeably roll off a few Hertz lower than the specified 29Hz, and still seems to reproduce all the way down to 20Hz (although it's quiet and somewhat distorted). I compared this Jamo side-by-side with a Definitive Technology ProSub 800 (B000TDEM5C) which costs the same and claims it can go down to 20Hz--it really can't, it gets super quiet. Definitive's marketing propaganda notwithstanding, the Jamo's louder and sounds way better. I also compared this side-by-side with a BIC America Acoustech H-100II (B00BG2BDGG) which claims it can go down to 24Hz, and the Jamo definitely sounds better. Aside from the fantastic sound, I like the color-changing LED on the front behind the grille: When the sub's in standby it's red; when the sub's active it's blue.Sound aside, I do have some quibbles. First, the "black ash" finish is very obviously vinyl and, in certain light, looks gray. I bought this to complement a set of Pioneer Andrew Jones speakers (B0148NPIM4) which are also black ash and, while they're technically not wood, they actually look like wood. It's a shame Jamo didn't use better material. Next, there seem to be some discrepancies regarding the amplifier power between Amazon's listing and Jamo's website, the product box, and the label on the back of the sub. The Amazon listing and Jamo's website both say 400W. The boxes mine came in say 200W. The labels on the backs of both of my subs say 75W RMS, 300W peak. Another discrepancy I noticed is my boxes say the grilles are magnetic, but they're not. Also, the only power option is auto-on...there's no way to keep it on/active all the time. At very low volume it sometimes won't detect an LFE input signal unless there's an explosion or other sudden increase in bass. Finally, the packaging just isn't that great. One of the two subs I got was obviously mistreated by UPS--the box had cuts, dents, divots, crumples, and a huge gash, and a lot of the Styrofoam inside was broken. Luckily the sub itself appears unblemished--save for a light scratch on one side I can live with--and it seems to work properly, so I guess technically the packaging did its job.

Great sub for the money/Go Dual
I bought on of these subs for my back deck patio build and liked it so much that I replaced my 7 year old Polk 10” sub with one of these. It sounded so good that I decided to order another to have a matching pair for my bedroom HT system. The bass is pretty accurate and not boomy at all, but does give a substantial rumble to movies. It’s almost too much for my bedroom so I keep them turned down….most of the time :) They play well down to 30hz too. An overall great sub for music and movies👍🏾👍🏾

not for a huge room but still shakes the whole house
This is a huge upgrade from my jamo s808. The power output is 75w RMS so it doesn’t get super loud and I wouldn’t put it in a huge room but for any normal sized room this will work great. The large body makes it produce low frequencies very well and if you push the volume knob beyond half way it will shake your house at some frequencies. Overall very nice and full sounding bass definitely better than the jamo s808. I got it because it was on sale for $165 but I would even buy this at full price over anything in the jamo s line it just sounds so much better.

Great quality, deep rumbling and quality bass!
It’s not as loud as Klipsch but the bass quality is awesome. I have a Klipsch 10 inch that can really go loud. I have the volume dial less than half on the Klipsch. The bass on this Jamo goes deeper but volume dial is more than 3/4. But overall an excellent buy and quality bass.Update: The depth and rumble quality bass that this Jamo goes to is far more crisp than the Klipsch 10". I updated a subwoofer cable and there was a big difference in the Jamo. This is a very good quality Subwoofer so far I have purchased and it was all worth it.
