first of all as a product I'm impressed in general. It's made of plexiglass that's about an eighth of an inch thick and the overall thickness of the clock is not much more than the thickness of the battery pack on the back. I bought it as an embellishment for a Mardi Gras costume. It has a little silicone rim that runs around the edge, that I pulled off without damaging it much like you would remove a rubber band, Drilled some tiny holes at 4 points next to the rim, Hand sewed it loose lead to the back of my jacket and put the rubber edge back on the hide my stitches, then I glued red sequin tape onto it and painted the words "we're all mad here" onto the face to go with my costume. It not only survived parading in a mob of people from the Bywater through the French quarter without having its little hands bent, but after I got home and snipped it off of the jacket and put it on the little plastic easel that came with it on my bedside table, it's still keeps perfect time ! All in all, not bad for a plastic clock with AA batteries :-)

UPDATE: Tried some manual movement in the back of the clock with the dial and strangely it is keeping up now. Will update as necessary. Appears it was not the battery in either case. Some malfunction with the gears or like.ORIGINAL: Even switching to a new lithium ion battery it still falls behind. Was 5 mins now 15. Frustrating as there is support to find here.

I received this clock on 11/26/2024. It appeared to be working fine until January and then we noticed it was behind. We swapped out the battery with a new one. A few weeks later we noticed again that it was behind. We bought brand-new batteries and swapped it out again. Not even 3 months after we received it on 2/18/2025, it was again 15 minutes slow today. There is nothing unusual about the clock placement. The previous clock worked for about 8 years in the same spot plus several years before that.

Absolutely beautiful, but too small for my living room, but I will use it in my meditation room. Love it!

This is a beautiful clock, BUT, the light has to be just so in order to see the hands. If the plan is to put it in a well lit at all times area, you should be fine, otherwise, keep looking.

How come there's no user instruction or manual, also there's no hooks or accessories to hang it.Correction: I didn't need a user instruction or manual. I did it easily. Just perfect.
