Beautiful, sturdy, and best of all, cooks easily and evenly.
This cookware is sturdy - great for someone like me that typically does most of her cooking with cast iron. It heats up fast and evenly and cleans up well with a little care. The lids that double as strainers are BRILLIANT. I wish the lid for the large pot was also a strainer, but it might be too big to function safely that way. The measures on the sides and the pour spouts (on the 2 smaller pots) are incredibly helpful, too. Kitchen Aid has really gone out of their way to make these intuitive and easy to cook with. Getting the set might take a while - the first time I ordered it the shipping time kept extending, then I received a message saying it was lost. I ordered again (I really only wanted this set), and the same thing started to happen, but the second time it was only a little late. I'm really glad I waited!

Glad I made the switch
Been wanting to get away from non-stick cookware for awhile since I figure after less than a year you are eating the coating Finally went with this set and glad I did. If you follow the directions (seasoning pan, let pan heat a bit before adding oil and use oil) they are great, clean up beautifully. I bought some of the stuff to help clean them but haven't really needed it yet. It is important to use the pans appropriately. Have you ever read a recipe that said to scrape up the stuff on the bottom of the pan, and had nothing to scrape up using a non-stick pan. That stuff stuck to the bottom adds TONS of flavor, but you cannot get that with non-stick. I fell like a real cook!. It is important to use these pans with a recipe that adds liquid (like wine, vinegar, broth) at the end, even if just a little bit, that is how you get the stuck stuff off the pan and into your food. If you are dry cooking, use the grill pan, it's great for steaks or pork chops. One thing I would like to see an improvement on is the handles, they get HOT. Always use pot holder for the handles and the lid handles. Other than that, heating is fast and even (even compared to another stainless steel pan I had and these heated faster). I am enjoying them. And the price is very reasonable.

Pleasantly Surprised!
I have been using my kitchen aid stainless steel pots now for a month. I just love them. It’s been years since I’ve used stainless steel pots and pans. I have been using cast iron and non stick. Love my cast iron but fed up with non stick. I was tired of how easily the coating comes off and after a few uses the non stick sticks. Lol. And I’ve tried so many different kinds from cheap to mid range. I’ve used low heat, no sprays, and hand wash. Still the pans just didn’t last. I decided to switch back to stainless. I read countless reviews and finally settled on these. For the money these pans are a solid buy. They feel great and have a nice weight to them. Just a heads up these pans are NOT lightweight. So if you’re looking for that these aren’t them. They are not as heavy as cast iron either. Recently my daughter made sticky tofu and burnt it. She was so worried I would be mad about my new pan. Nope! I soaked the pan for 15 minutes and the burnt sauce came right off. I followed up with bar keepers friend and my pan was brand new again. Had this been non-stick I would’ve had to throw away yet another pan. Finally, if you’re worried about sticking I recommend you watch the Mercury ball video and the cooking eggs in stainless steel pan videos. These helped me tons.

Nice Pots & Pans
I had a hard time choosing which set of pots and pans to buy. You can get cheap stuff or you can pay big bucks for each pan. Even though this is made in China I'm hopeful that the brand requires a higher standard of quality than others. So far I like it and especially find the straining lids useful to avoid creating more dishes to wash.

Okay, so I was afraid to use my new cookware for THIS reason right here…
I replaced my T-Fal with this new set. I wanted stainless steel because I hang my pots and pans in my kitchen and SS just looks nice. So I have hesitated using my new cookware because I was afraid it wouldn’t be so pretty anymore once I used it. My fears were valid too.All I did was boil water with a few drops of cooking oil to cook egg noodles for my homemade soup.Pot was washed with warm soapy water and a dishrag and has this staining after only one use.Heat distribution was excellent. Handles are comfortable.I still feel it was a good value aside of the interior staining and would buy again.

Excellent product
Absolutely beautiful set of cookware. Very sturdy and heavy. Nothing was damaged upon arrival and everything was in the box. Was bought as a Christmas present for my wife. She loves them. Can't go wrong with anything kitchenaid. Highly recommended! I ordered a few of the additional pieces as well and they were perfect upon arrival.

Things to consider with stainless
So, I want to start with I love this set! However, there are things I didn't expect. Something to consider is the weight. These are heavy duty pans. I need two hand to hold them. Second, they are NOT like nonstick, like at all. There is a learning curve. But they are great once you figure it out. K would suggest one small nonstick to add to the collection to make fast things. Those things considered this is an amazing set. Very happy.

Easy of cleaning
I normally by T-fal pots and pans. I needed some new one and decided to try Kitchenaid pots & pan set. I am very disappointed in them. My daughter cooked a grill cheese and had the flame a little higher and it looked like I had used it for years. I ended up throwing it out of being dissatisfied. I gave my son the one pot because I didn't care for how it felt when I used it. They are very heavy, but they don't clean up nice.
