Q: Can you see the gears in the back of watch too?

You can see the gears through a glass panel in the back, but they don't move as the watch ticks.

Q: How do I adjust the time on this watch?

The little knob at the top (sits inside the ring that the chain attaches to) pulls up. Pull it up Once to wind the clock daily... pull it up TWICE (2 clicks) to adjust the Time (hands of clock) by winding as well. Push all the way back down once done.

Q: Does the visible mechanism actually work?

The rings around the edges are actually decorative for the cover of the watch. The gold mechanism in the center really works and keeps time.
