Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway, Happy Birthday

Nicely painted, quality wooden trains, exceeded my expectations for FP brand products.Noticed a few tiny chipped spots on some of the edges of the trains after about two weeks of play. Overall, it seems like they are going to hold up to hours and hours of train track play. They are absolutely loved by kids who are huge fans of Thomas and Friends.Happy Birthday Express is a two piece train that is connected by magnets, in the cargo train, there is a removable plastic cake that plays a short version of the Thomas and Friends theme song when gently pressed on the top, the candles also light up. The music is brief and not overly loud, which is good because it usually pressed by any given toddler over and over, but it is so much fun, it isn't a big deal :) This train makes a great birthday gift, along with, Thomas Wooden Railway - Celebration Salty.Wish that they were a little more affordable but sometimes you have to pay for quality, these will be the type of toys that can be handed down for another child to enjoy and love all the same.If I notice any significant issues in the long run with quality, I will add to this post, but so far I feel like they are going to be solid.

My son absolutely loved receiving this birthday edition Thomas on his third birthday! It shipped in a large box, which I was surprised about, but it wasn't a big deal as the packaging was still in perfect condition. The wooden Thomas train was extremely well made and durable, as every other Fisher-Price Thomas train is, but I was a bit surprised about the tenders quality. It is made of plastic, and the cake on top comes off, we constantly lose it! My son loves pushing on the cake and hearing the Thomas theme song, so he gets really disappointed when he cant find the cake since it is not attached! This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The Thomas figure is cute with the birthday decorations and I really like the idea of the birthday cake tender. My son loves it and that's all that matters to me!

This is very cute and my son loves it for his train table. The cake sings the theme song and it's all well constructed. The pipe on top of Thomas looks like it should do something when pushed, but doesn't. But the quality is still there. Only complaint is that the cake does not fit under OR on the bridges on the majority of the train table sets (including the specific ones made for Thomas). In that regard, at least the cake comes off? But it's kind of annoying for my 2 year old.

We used this for a cake topper and it was absolutely perfect. The bakery just put a fondant circle on top with a "happy birthday [name]" banner ribbon on top, and I just placed this on top. My two year old was over the moon when he saw it and immediately had something to play with, making it superior to a fondant topper and much less wasteful. Very cute. And by the way, the cake in the bake plays the Thomas song when pressed, I didn't realize that from the listing.

We bought this Thomas train for my son's friend's 3rd birthday, which was Thomas themed. It is very cute and it plays the Thomas theme song from the birthday cake. I have also purchased the other birthday Thomas wooden train  Thomas And Friends Wooden Railway - Happy Birthday Thomas And Box Car  for my son's birthday when he was 2 years old. To compare them, the Birthday Cake Thomas plays music, and the Box Car Thomas does not, but I like that the Box Car birthday Thomas comes with stickers to personalize the underside of the car (We put his name and year on the bottom). Both Thomas' are decorated with colorful streamers, but the Cake Thomas is wearing a birthday hat. Hope this helps! Both fit the standard wooden railway and have magnets.

This remains my son 's favorite toy since he was a year old. We gave it to him for his 1st bday and he adores it. The trains are wooden and the cute little cake lights up and plays the Thomas theme song. The cake was, in my opinion, too small for him to play with alone as a small toddler but as he gets bigger he still loves it and this will be less of an issue. Totally worth the buy and makes such a cute bday gift for Thomas fans.

This was the most awesome thing I have ever seen. My son loves Thomas and when we got this for his 3rd birthday I had no idea how much. He latched on to this toy and has not let go. When you press down on the cake it lights up and plays 15 seconds of the Thomas theme song. The cake is just set in the trailer so it does come out easily but you have to get to the battery compartment on the underside of the cake anyway. I'm very happy with this product.

It was a little overpriced, but he loved it so much it didn’t matter. We put it with his Thomas birthday cake and he was fascinated by this. This version is much better than the newer one IMO. Sometimes the musical cake has to live on a top shelf as both sons fight over it so much.

Excellent, a little extra gift for my son's 2nd birthday. He loved the fact that Thomas was in a party hat and carrying a sinning cake! The cake plays a little of the Thomas theme song. A really nice addition and good quality, I would recommend this as a birthday gift for any Thomas fan.

Item arrived on time, was well packaged and as described, i used this on top of my grandsons birthday cake which he loved, especially whenyou press the cake down and it plays the Thomas theme, he now uses it on his wooden train track

I bought this as a third birthday present for son and he loves it. Well made and the cake lights up and can be taken off.

He's going to love it
