My 8yr old loves it.. It is very cool. It's very nicely built, and easy to use controls. He did stick the wheel up to his eyelid and get his eyelid suck in the wheel and freaked out a bit LOL. The wheels do not move freely, without using the controls. So tell your kids not to do stupid stuff with it, but kids will be kids SMH. It will go on low carpet real well, but I wouldn't recommend using it on carpet. Hairs and fiber from the carpet will get stuck in the drivetrain, and cause it to eventually drag to the left or right. Just understand that it is a piece of mechanical equipment, with wheels that'll collect trash, so don't run it through carpet or dirt and it should last your child for a good while. PS.. If your child gets their eyelid stuck in the wheel, your wife will flip out and break it 😂

Ordered this for my 5 year old grandson . He absolutely loved it and played with it for over an hour when we noticed that he was only operating on one side , we checked it recharged it , and still had the same problem. It was Christmas and I knew I could reorder on Amazon and have another with in 2 days. I reordered and now he has 2. One that works another that does not. I did not return the defective one . Now he has 2 .. my own fault as I did not return it. But it is an awesome toy and gift

I gifted this to my almost-3 year old nephew, and it was a big hit! He figured out the remote control pretty quickly, although he isn't as good with it as his older sisters. The robot takes about 15 minutes to charge for a 30 minute play session, which is a great length of time for a three-year old's attention span. He also enjoyed playing with it manually, no electronics, whenever the robot ran out of charge. It felt very sturdy and well made also. Highly recommend!

My almost 3-year old grandson LOVES his robot, especially the dance moves. The poor robot is being treated a bit roughly (as boys will do to their toys), but it's sturdy and holding up fine.

My kid lives this robot, but every time it turns on it is automatically at MAX VOLUME!!! Which, by the way is pretty dang loud!!! THE REMOTE does NOT Have an OFF button and the robot will not shut up, it just keeps looping every 20 seconds!! If you have friends with a kid and like a great prank, this is a great one.. it can withstand a good beating and kids love how obnoxious it is, i however need a power button on the remote and for the volume to remain where it is changed to in order to give this a 5 star review...

I gave 4 stars only because it is not really for 7 year olds. They got bored with it pretty fast. Its more for 3-4 year olds.
