Exceeded my expectation
I purchased this to replace a functioning 12 volt upright compact refrigerator in our RV. This purchase far exceeded my expectations. Being a chest type, nothing falls out. It is very quiet and efficient. It regulates temperature well. The construction is sturdy. The lighted interior is a real plus. I did have to calibrate the temperature. It is set for 29° and that translates into 34°. It seems to hold the temperature within 2° highly recommended.

as advertised
I like the size of the fridge and it cools as advertised. just waiting for a insulated cover when they have them. uses only 41 watts on my bluetti.

Read this before you purchase! Add a bead of silicone on the bottom for future leaks.
After nearly two years, this is a fantastic refrigerator and has been reliable over the last couple of years. The other comments regarding temperature are true, the thermostat is not quite accurate. But know the temperature threshold to adjust to and it will keep things cold no problem. We can go nearly entire day on a Jackery 500 WH battery in relatively warm conditions. The reason for jumping on and writing this review (in addition to the 4 stars) is that the insulation on the floor and sidewalls is not sealed. One time our full-size freezer went out and we transferred some items into this as a temporary solution. This freezer worked great but the ice cream had already melted and leaked into the bottom of the this refrigerator. No big deal, this was our fault. However, it was impossible to get into the crevices that were exposed on the bottom of the refrigerator. Weeks later it was full of mold and has been a continuous battle. To all of the future purchasers of this. unit:A bead of silicone around the bottom would have prevented this. I will be doing it with my next refrigerator - so far we are ahead of the battle so not upgrade time yet.

dry camp 300w solar, 1.2kwh battery
very impressed with the build quality.the insulation, lid sealing/latching, control panel, efficiency all seem to be top notch.things we like:- pull out baskets for easy cleanup of spilled items, to take into the house for loading and unloading.- metal lining for ease of cleaning and adds to the build quality / durability.- latching lid and foam seal.- appears to have thick insulation and overnight run test seems to confirm this.- quiet operation.- low power consumption.we plan to use this dry camping as a freezer and our test overnight seems to indicate we should have no problem doing this.my setup:- 3x100 w solar panels- 1.2 kwh power station- Southern State in early May, 85° day 60° night- inside box truck slightly higher temp where the freezer is.- 10° freezer setting.- Max operation setting IE not econo mode.our concern is it running overnight, as during the day, the solar can more than keep up with its power use, which in the photograph attached is about 66 Watts running at Max cooling.we ran the freezer overnight and measured power consumption crudely from 5:00 p.m.(solar power dwindles) till 6:00 a.m.(solar power starts to produce) the next morning.it consumed roughly 35% of the power station or roughly 420wh, which is ~32w/hr overnight. By 11:00 a.m. the power station had been fully recharged to 100%.checked the temperature before and after and it stayed constant at just below 10° see pictures. temperature on control panel seems to match quite well with my refrigerator temperature gauges.unit is quiet we had no issues sleeping in the same area with it running.the cigarette lighter power connector is a weak link in that it is apt to vibrate out or become dislodged. I used some cable management web on the cord and used a split key ring with cable ties and an s hook to provide a strain relief, see picture. I have a 12 ft extension at 10 gauge and that is in the picture.I don't like the power cord into this unit as it exits towards the front and I would prefer it exit towards the back i e hinged back of the lid see picture. I will need to see about strain relieving it also. power connection into the unit location is good just the orientation of the cord is something I wish was changed.regardless of price, build quality seems very good and at the price point we got it with manufacturer / Amazon discount we can highly recommend it.if it still performs well after the next couple of weeks, we will get another one to act as a refrigerator IE to run out 34°.

Excellent Fridge! Stays cold, doesn't use a lot of juice to maintain temp, and has held up to abuse!
This fridge was highly recommended by a certain overlanding youtuber I follow. I chose it based on his recommendation, my own research, budget, the style and also the fact that it is the only fridge at this price point that I could find having a 3 year compressor warranty. My first impressions were excellent and still loving it after some hard use.The fridge came well packaged in the box, arriving in pristine condition. The construction is high quality, hinges and latches are very sturdy and built to last. The lid seals well. The handles have a tight spring that holds them down so they don't flop and bang around. The buttons are nice and you have to hold them down to change the settings, so you don't accidentally change a setting and kill your battery or whatever. I read another review where the 12v adapter plug didn't fit snugly but mine is very snug and no problems with that connection so far whatsoever.I can plug it in to regular 110 outlet in the house and the temp will go from 85 to 34 within 15 minutes. I sometimes leave it plugged in and running for several days in the house and it runs quietly.I've taken it on several 3 and 4-day long camping trips where it rides in the bed of my Jeep Gladiator plugged into a 12v outlet while driving and an ECOFLOW RIVER 2 Max 500 Portable Power Station to power it overnight and when not on the move. I can adjust the settings as needed to help reduce the power it requires but it really maintains temp well overnight without using a lot of power. It's tough too, I've had it in the bed of the Gladiator without properly securing it while wheeling over large rock obstacles and deep mud holes and it's taken a bit more of a beating than I'd like to admit with only a small dent in the outside and it still runs like a top. Very happy with my purchase. Definitely think this fridge is the best bang for your buck if you're in the market for one in this price range.
