OrganicTextiles Organic Shredded Latex Pillow with Organic Cotton Cover (Standard, with Zipper)

These pillows are awesome! They had a slight, but not unpleasant odor to them (hey, it's all natural, I'd much rather be smelling that then some chemical nonsense), so I aired out the two that I bought for about a week, turning them over and patting them to get maximum airflow. After that, I put pillowcases on them and now you only smell them if you really dig your nose into them, and even then, again, not an unpleasant smell.The pillows were well filled, but not to the point of overstuffed. Even if they were though, there's a handy zipper to empty some of the stuffing out, and if you save it, you just extended your pillow's life. I have a good feeling these pillows will last a very long time anyway, way longer than your standard fiber filled pillows. They always bounce right back into shape no matter what you do to them! I LOVE the fact that these are filled with little latex bits, because I really wanted a latex based pillow (natural, doesn't contribute to the cotton industry beyond the organic cotton case, animal cruelty free) but I wanted the softness and adjustablity of a fiber filled pillow. Perfect balance. I hope Organic Textiles continues to make this specific product for many years to come. Highly recommend!

I don't have a good sense of smell, but the stink of this pillow is too strong for me to use it. It has not dissipated at all after a couple of weeks. I find latex doesn't work for me as I wake up with a sore jaw regardless of how much of the stuffing I remove. My husband has a latex pillow from the same company that is fine for him and doesn't stink.
