I love my Echo Show 5 so much I now have 3 dotted around the house. The only thing that could make them better is the fact that they are now portable thanks to this nifty little battery. It's brilliant and looks really smart. It uses the charge cable from the Echo Show 5 so there's no need to worry about any extra wires, and once it's charged you can just take it with you. I use mine most of the day for music via Spotify or Amazon Music, also as an intercom between my office and the house, and it holds a charge really well. The stand also allows you to tilt the Echo Show to a better viewing position, and by not having the speaker on the desk/table seems to make the sound louder. Overall I'm delighted with both the product and the service, and would highly recommend both the battery stand and the company to anyone who has an Echo Show 5.

I bought this ES5 from GGMM to enable me to use the echo show 5 in other locations including my car or basically anywhere you can get wi fi. Its a great piece of kit and lasts around 8 hours if continuously used at mid ish volume. You can also charge your mobile phone with it, very handy though this will obviously reduce battery life. It lasts a day or two on standby. The echo show performs exactly the same as when plugged into a wall socket. Another handy feature is that it's also quite heavy and has rubber feet this enables it to stay in place (barring accident's!!) wherever you place it, even on the dashboard (parked up of course). I bought 3 of these for me and both sets of grandparents. Great benefit to have a mobile Echo Show for family chats. They are expensive but worth it IMO.One recently stopped working (after 1 year) and was replaced by seller very quickly and without fuss hence I wish to leave this unsolicited glowing review

Found item originally on u tube ,ordered and waited with optimisum. From box solid piece of kit ,fits show 5 very well plugged in lights flash fully charged with 4 lights showing . Works extremely well moving about WiFi area for voice commands, music etc.however during video call and attached to power cable colours and brightness is slightly distorted . How ever as a mobility device it allows freedom even into patio area or to show different parts of home ,well worth modest outlay. Buying another unit.

I listen to audiobooks all the time, so I thought I'd invest in an Echo Show 5 and this battery stand to be able to take it around the house when doing housework. I particularly love using it in the bathroom (with the camera turned off), where I can shout commands to turn it off and on without getting the device wet.On first receiving the item, I left it on with photos scrolling and occasionally listening to books. It lasted 12 hours before running out. It then took 5 hours to fully charge. You can use the Echo Show's plug to charge the battery whilst it is sitting being powered by the battery. So far it has been just what I wanted.

No rating for sound as it is a charger, too early to judge battery life but seems good, overall it seems very good value for money.

I posted a question on this item before I purchased but didn't get a response, so I took the plunge and bought it anyway. I asked how long the battery would last on video calls... Now I know you would normally plug it into the mains for power hungry functions but I was interested as I call video call quite a lot.So in answer to my own question (and for anyone else who may want to know) the battery lasted for 7.5hrs on constant video call, from full charge to completely flat.I hope this helps.

Works great for our Alexa - means we can move Alexa outside to garden and play music. Base charges up via electric but you can also buy a DC 12v cable and charge base via 12v leisure battery when away from home in motorhome! Brilliant

I really wish one of these existed for the echo 8, can someone please make it happen! So grateful that this product exists. My father refuses to use a cell phone. We use echo screen devices to communicate. This battery allows me to make the echo screen portable so that I can walk around and show him things like i would have had he had video calling on a cell phone. Fantastic and it has a long battery life. You can also plug the charge cord right into the batt pack so that u don’t have to remove the batt pack if you want it to be wired. Very good.

We were going to buy the Alex Auto but we read the reviews and they were not kind, we didn't want too use our phones or have the wires so we bought the GGMM ES5 Battery Base for Show 5. Now we have a fully functional Show 5 in our Chrysler Pacifica. After hooking up to the Cars AT&T Wi-Fi hotspot we had log into Amazon to verify it was ours and ever since it does everything we want in the car. My kid have used it to watch YouTube and we have streamed Amazon Music on the stereo via Bluetooth. It was used for over straight hours on a drive and it never ran out of battery. Charged in the hotel over night and worked all the way home the next day. The fact the base has some weight is great because it reduces movement when sitting on the center console between the front seats.
