Hipa Safety Face Shield with Mesh Visor for Weed Eating Whacking Yard Work Chainsaw Protective Helmet

I bought this thinking I was clever enough to figure out the assembly, even though so many were facing trouble with it. I’m a clever monkey, I thought, I can do this! Lol! I did manage to get it to the point where it is usable and adjustable…whether or not it’s how the manufacturer intended it to be assembled, I have no idea. So, If you bought this and are having trouble figuring out how to keep the screen from falling too far down when wearing this, see the pictures to see how I got it to work. Notice the yellow ‘pin’ fitting in the slots of the thin black piece. This is the adjustable part I think, as the thin tab can be maneuvered to have the yellow pin in any slot. I’d take it apart and show step by step how I did it, but I’m afraid I won’t be able to get it back together right!It does seem like it will be great for weed whacking though, nice strong mesh, breathable

The face shield came in piece parts that needed to be assembled. No real instructions and awkward to put together. Once assembled the head band is stiff and hard to adjust. Once fully assembled are fitted properly the face shield does it job and stays put as it should. I would buy again as the price is fair for what you get. Do not expect commercial grade product.

Working with my new pole saw, I am able to work above my head without the danger of sawdust in my face. The wire mesh allows air circulation so that I could keep the shield on for a good while comfortably.

My son uses it while he weed eats and it works great

Works great so I don’t have to wear glasses when using weed eater because I wear a mask for protection from all the pollen and grass I would be breathing in

After first use…Using for weed eating. Parts all there. No instructions but Amazon has pic of how parts go.Likes - mesh front and coverage appears to eliminate safety glasses (debatable), mask, and glasses fogging up. I WAS wearing mask because I kept getting beaned in the nose from debris. Thus, fighting fogging safety glasses. Contact wearers May still want to wear safety glasses. Make sure adjustments are close to face.Disappointment and reason for 4 stars… Side adjustment/ nobs don’t tighten fully. I hadto find washers (in my case, water hose washer) to tighten adequately. After that it was fine. Hopefully is durable enough.If you use often/daily might keep looking. This works good for the the occasional user. Not sure of durability.

Packaged well. Quick delivery. Husband was very surprised with great quality! Seems sturdy. Easy to adjust.
