So far so good
The watch looks good and so far, keeps good time and dates. Also, despite my initial uncertainty, the band and buckle mechanism have been working well. For around $25, it is well worth the price.

Beautiful Mimimalist Look... that Isn't quite minimalist
This is a beautiful watch. I purchased it because it appears nearly identitical to my favorite watch, a siver ultra-slim SKAGEN (that is not offered in gold). It's a good looking watch for any price, but at $30, it's incredible. I wear it more often than my SKAGENs. The watchband is interesting in that it is somewhat difficult to clasp until one gets familiar with putting it on. However, once on, it's extremely easy to fine tune its tightness on the wrist... a real plus.

Exactly what I hoped it would be
I gave this watch four stars because it is exactly what I hoped it would be, which is an inexpensive everyday watch that I don't have to worry about beating up, but didn't really wow me.While the 25 dollars I spent was on the higher end of my target range, I have been pleased that there were no disappointments after opening the box. The quality of the materials feel noticeably cheaper than my more expensive MVMT watch, but for the price I think the look and feel is surprisingly good.I have been mostly pleased with the light weight and thin/not to large diameter dimensions. I wear it both under and over my lab coat (which has tight elastic cuffs) and under nitrile gloves at work and it doesn't feel too bulky or restrictive of movement. The parts that connect to the band don't really conform to the curve of my smallish wrists, but the overall slimness mostly makes that a non-issue for me.Probably my biggest complaint is setting the watch. It works well enough, but the nob feels a little fragile when pulled out and it's frustrating that the minute hand moves a little when you push it back in, changing the time from what you set it to to something slightly off. I'm not too particular about accuracy, but I did try to anticipate the movement and got pretty close to where I was aiming for.(The rest is just a reflection on the pros and cons of a steel mesh band. The band I received on my watch works fine and is as advertised.)The steel mesh band took me a minute to figure out, as I've never had one before and there weren't really clear instructions on how to latch it. Once I figured it out, though, I found the ease of removal appealing. As a person who is typically on the hot and sweaty side I like that the band is cooler than leather and more comfortable than steel links. The trade off is that I had to get used to keeping the band at the same length all day (since it's not easy to adjust on the go) whereas I would sometimes loosen the band to move it around on my wrist and let some of the sweat evaporate with a leather strap. Overall I"m quite happy with my choice comfort wise and I think that the style fits very nicely in the casual but not too casual range I was going for.

Works well for women too!
I was looking specifically for a big black and white watch without numbers and was initially disappointed that I could only find it in men's. But, I decided to try it anyway, and I'm so glad I did! I'm a petite woman with fairly small wrists, and the strap is very accommodating. It stays in place and tells time as expected. It's on the heavier side, but not unreasonably so. I love how beautiful and easy to read it is!

Thin, simple, stylish, and doesn't pull my arm hair
I was talking with my grandmother recently about watches and about how they aren't worn very much anymore now that everyone carries smartphones, but she made a good point about how watches aren't always just for function, they can also be for style. And that got me thinking... when my wife and I have to get dress up all fancy for some formal event, she puts on a nice necklace or two and a nice set of earrings and maybe a bracelet, and there I am with not a single accessory. So I started looking at getting a nice, formal-looking watch. For functionality I would only ever go for digital since I'm not super-quick at reading analog clocks or watches, but for a formal style I though analog had to be the way to go. I wanted it to be thin and simple, not something bulky or shiny, and definitely not one of those elastic/metal bands like my dad wears as they always pulled my hair. But I also couldn't go Velcro like on the watch I used to wear because that's not formal enough. So with all that in mind I came across this one, and I think it works well as an accessory for a formal dress-up occasion. The black band is metal mesh and yet not elastic at all so it doesn't pull my hair. You have to use the included tool in order to adjust the length, which was kind of a pain, but seeing as how that only needs to be done once it can be forgiven. The watch face has a dark gray background with a black metallic border and hands that match. Depending on the light, the background sometimes looks light gray, and I think I might have preferred a black background. The watch is battery powered, which would be a necessity if I were to wear it every day, but for only occasional use manual wind-up would have been fine. That knob on the side pulls out slightly and is then used to adjust the time, and then pulls out a little more to adjust the day. There is no method for setting the month or year so I guess you have to fix the date every time a new month begins where the previous month didn't have 31 days?Since I'm not going to be wearing this every day, I was happy to find that it comes in a nice-looking storage box. The outer slipcover is like a black, thick paper/thin cardboard, but the box itself feels almost leather, like a fake leather. Inside the watch strap slides into an elastic band to keep it in place, then there's a dark gray foam piece that sets on top. The top of the box has a pouch where the documentation is kept along with the tool for adjust the band's size. Although the box is nice, I do think I would have preferred it to be a smaller to make it easier to pack and travel with. For my purposes, this watch is pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

Attractive watch for the price, but susceptible to moisture
I loved this cheaper watch for a few weeks until I noticed it fogging up inside the glass. Somehow moisture had crept in. This replaced another watch (not high dollar) that has never had any moisture issues, so I don't think it is a user problem. A shame, but not a lot of money lost.

Really good quality price
This watch is incredibly beautiful and its quality is high. A very good price for what its worth. The wrist band is very good quality and is not comparable to the cheap fake leather ones. I really don't regret the purchase. I can compare it to one I bought years earlier for more than a hundred bucks.
