Got several broken bolts out..still looks like new.

This tap works very well. Keep in mind your success is aided with the proper size pilot hole. ( and some patience)

Not a bottoming tap
It’s a taper tap. The opposite of a bottoming tap. Cut fine.

Not a Bottom Out Tap
Item is marked as a bottom out tap as shown in the picture but has a cone end. Doesn’t do what its supposed to since it’s supposed be flat.

Not useful as a bottom tap.
A bottom tap normally has cutting threads very near to the tip. This allows you to thread shallow holes. This tap has a long conical projection which makes it impossible to tap shallow holes, such as front of receiver.
