Some series functional issues
Review Update: The lag issues seem to have magically fixed themselves, so I've upped the rating from one star to three.I used to have a KUS015G keyboard, also from Jelly Comb. I was selling an old computer so I bundled that keyboard in with it once I realised I didn't have a spare. I bought this as a replacement. The entire board flexes when you hit a key. The case below the right Control key has already started to separate from the lower half of the case since it's warped. The switches are a bit spongy. The font choice in person just looks naff, with some text being off centre and some characters are missing completely (I'm glad I already know where # was located or I'd be trying to find it).The layout is also very confusing: why is F5 screenshot? Why are there two FN keys, with the second being where the left control key normally is? Why is the button to toggle the backlight where the right control key usually is? Why is the accent/tilde key ( ` ~ ) not it's own key but requires you to press FN and then Z or X?Other reviewers must not have used an official Apple keyboard before because this is nowhere near the quality of one. The other Jelly Comb I had was akin to a first generation Apple Scissor Switch keyboard from ten years ago, which was acceptable, but this feels worse than that thanks to the flex in the case. Absolutely not a replacement for an Apple Keyboard 2. I might just bite the bullet and pay the hundred-fifty to get one of those and just keep this around for the occasional moments I need a keyboard to pair with my iPad.

Don't buy this Keyboard, it really is awful
The keyboard has a dreadful delay - You have to 'wake it up'. and even then I have to enter my password twice as it inveriable missed the first characters.Whilst this is annoying the real issue is the battery life. I have had this device for less than a month and the battery needs charging after very little use over a day and a half. When charging it takes hours to do this.In comparison I bought this to replace the small keyboard that came with my Mac. After 2 years this only needs charing once a month with the same use.To add insult to injury, i was writing the review using said keyboard and the battery died... talk about writing its own obituary. My old keyboard, stuck on a shelffor 3 weeks is still working fine. Don't buy this Keyboard, it really is awful.

Very good value for a backlit keyboard (when it works) - Updated
There aren't many 3rd party Mac keyboards on the market and even fewer that are backlit. The only other one I could find was the Logitech MX Keys which costs almost 3 times as much as the Jelly Comb at £99!It amazes me that Apple's desktop keyboards aren't backlit, yet their laptops have had backlit keys for years - grrrr!!!!!I stumbled upon this quite by accident on Amazon when looking to see how much the Logitech cost and I'm typing this review on it. :)Early impressions are VERY good for the money.PROS:It's cheapNo Batteries are required as it's charged by mini USB.It's backlit - so still easy to read in a dark room which is great (I use it in a dark studio environment) - hang your head in shame Apple! You have a choice of backlit colours and brightness too - excellent! :)It has the numeric keypad and full size arrow keys.It can connect to up to three devices (very handy)Cons:It's cheap - The keys are a little plasticky and it lacks the quality feel of it's Apple counterpart. It's not terrible, but you'll notice the difference. They've inexplicably decided to swap the positions of the fn(function) & Control keys - an absolute howler of a mistake and is the only part of the keyboard layout that isn't the same as an Apple keyboard layout and I find myself always pressing the fn button when I want to control click. It's completely unnecessary - for the life of me I cannot understand why they did this - MASSIVE error imo - HUGE! :(The return key is the smaller one (the size of 2 keys) you find on most US model keyboards, not the larger one (the size of 3 keys) you get as standard on most UK layouts, so it's easy to accidentally type a backward slash instead of hitting return - grrrr!Interestingly the Logitech also has the US style return key too, so it's probably unfair to criticise this choice too much. These gripes aside it's really good value for a product under £35.It'll be interesting to see how long it last between charges. If it's a decent amount of time then it really deserves the 4 stars - I dropped the one star for the bizarre decision to swap the positions of the control and fn keys on the layout which really vexes me.Based on the couple of hours I've owned it so far though, it's really...really good value! :)Update: Unfortunately Im having to return it. It keeps dropping connection to the Mac and when it re establishes it, there's a serious lag in response to the keys and it duplicates key presses which makes what you've typed materialise as gibberish.A real shame because there was a lot to like about this keyboard, but regrettably the performance lets it down. :(

Worth every penny
Given that we are working from home a lot these days it was key for me to have a keyboard as I didn't want to be using my Laptop keyboard constantly while working from home.I have to be honest, I was surprised by how good this keyboard actually is. I have the older version, no backlit keys and white, which I use in the office. This is so easy to set up, the colours for the backlit keys are good and fun to play around with if you want. Above all else the keys them selves are very responsive and easy to type on. Easy to switch between devices and for the price you pay I have not come across a better keyboard.

Good Keyboard - Decent and Very Usable
I recently treated myself to a new MAC and decided to get a different keyboard - I prefer to have a seperate numeric keypad - I took a punt on this one and was pleasantly surprised. Firstly it’s a great looking keyboard and was easy to setup and install once charged. The key stroke and travel is pretty good and it feels comfortable to use whether for just the odd email, etc through to using all day. The illumination is a nice touch especially having various colours and brightnesses and although I don’t use it right now the ability to bluetooth upto 3 different devices is pretty cool. However, the battery life isn’t as good as I’d hoped and I’ve found I’ve had to charge a few times already, but it’s not a massive issue as you can still use the keyboard whilst it’s charging. Just a slight disappointment.Overall - I like it, decent and very usable.
