Bought this for a backyard bbq and it was a great addition. The cooler is lightweight for its size but still durable. It kept the drinks cold all day and even into the next day. Even as the ice began to melt, I didn’t notice any leaking from the cooler. This was definitely worth the purchase!

Amazon got this gray one to me in two days . Love the gray color, and size at 52 qts. This one fits in the backseat of my SUV when we travel. Just buy one. Sixty dollars well spent ..

This review is for the Coleman 316, 52 Quart, Cooler.I loaded my venison in Montana on Saturday and drove home to Washington State on Sunday afternoon, and the ice hadn't even melted by the time I got home. I'd consider this to be outstanding performance. The meat was quartered but the shoulder and the haunch were still on the bone. I halved the meat with my grandson who guided for me, and one shoulder, one haunch, one backstrap, half of the liver and heart organs, and HALF of the trimmings would NOT fit in this 49 qt. cooler, while still leaving room for ice. I also had to cut the legs bones shorter to fit them in this cooler. (This was a large buck which my grandson estimated to be about 190 - 200 lbs., on the hoof.)Had I kept all of the meat, I probably would have been better off with the 120 Quart Cooler, which would have accommodated all of the meat for both length of bone and quantity of meat, along with twelve, 7-lb. bags of ice. (I place bags of ice across the bottom of the cooler and then place a layer of meat, then another layer of ice bags, then another layer of meat, then a final layer of ice bags across the top.While this cooler kept the ice frozen very well, I did have a hard time keeping the lid from closing while I loaded it. In my opinion, the hinges of the lid on the 52 Quart cooler need to be re-designed to allow the lid to open further so that it will stay out of the way. Because of the excellent insulating qualities of this cooler, I would not consider the hinges to be a deal breaker, but they are the reason I rated this cooler a 4 instead of a 5. I'm not sure, but perhaps the hinges on the larger models are engineered differently. I also found that the handles are very secure and slide down out of the way when not needed. This is also a nice feature.

Sturdy. Good seal. Kept my food cold the entire weekend I camped. Super easy to drain and easy to clean. No plastic odors.

Works perfect design is perfect makes it really easy to use. Lid seals perfect. Really good value for the money. Haven tested enough to see how much time the ice lasts but we finish the drinks faster than it melts. Works perfect for my necessities. Would recommend to buy.
